00:00:01,446 --> 00:00:02,573
Miss Mckracken, dites nous...

2
00:00:02,574 --> 00:00:05,211
Ce n'est pas Mckracken. C'est Carol.

3
00:00:05,212 --> 00:00:08,648
Mckracken c'est juste un truc que j'utilise
pour les affaires légales. Papiers de divorce,

4
00:00:08,649 --> 00:00:10,616
avis de banqueroute, ce genre de choses.

5
00:00:10,617 --> 00:00:12,309
Et Carol est votre nom de jeune fille.

6
00:00:12,310 --> 00:00:14,419
Non. C'est mon nom professionnel

7
00:00:14,420 --> 00:00:16,523
comme dans "Christmas Carol" *
(*chants de Noël)

8
00:00:16,704 --> 00:00:19,587
J'ai géré le magasin
"Deck the halls" à Reseda,

9
00:00:19,799 --> 00:00:22,018
répandant la joie tout au long
de l'année grâce au plus grand

10
00:00:22,117 --> 00:00:26,150
assortiment de déguisements de Noël
en provenance du sud du Pôle nord.

11
00:00:26,150 --> 00:00:29,151
Oh, et voilà les Esprits de Noël.

12
00:00:31,318 --> 00:00:34,782
Certains ont bu un peu trop de lait
de poule et ont planté le traîneau ?

13
00:00:34,860 --> 00:00:37,137
Non. On ne boit pas au volant.

14
00:00:37,149 --> 00:00:40,400
On se promène et on chante.

15
00:00:49,055 --> 00:00:50,981
Vous êtes des chanteurs
de Noël professionnels.

16
00:00:50,988 --> 00:00:55,883
Nous sommes tous des fiers membres de la Screen
Actor's Guild, avec honoraires au forfait.

17
00:00:55,898 --> 00:00:58,080
Deck the halls nous permet
de mettre des sous de côté

18
00:00:58,086 --> 00:01:01,903
et ainsi nous pouvons offrir le cadeau
de la musique en live gratuitement.

19
00:01:01,908 --> 00:01:05,743
C'est ce qu'on essayait de faire
lors de notre séjour à Venice.

20
00:01:05,746 --> 00:01:07,653
Oh, votre groupe a joué en Italie ?

21
00:01:07,658 --> 00:01:09,303
Californie.

22
00:01:09,307 --> 00:01:11,653
Nous étions là avec nos
chapeaux rouges et nos écharpes

23
00:01:11,658 --> 00:01:15,440
chantant un conte de Noël en regardant
le coucher du soleil sur la plage

24
00:01:15,445 --> 00:01:20,801
quand un homme tatoué en bleu s'est approché et nous
a informé que nous étions sur le territoire des Crip.

25
00:01:20,805 --> 00:01:23,142
Eh bien, il se trouve que je
parle Crip, donc je lui ai dit,

26
00:01:23,148 --> 00:01:24,830
"Relax. On est potes".

27
00:01:24,838 --> 00:01:29,181
Mais alors cinq hommes en bleu se sont
approchés et ont demandé si les écharpes rouges

28
00:01:29,185 --> 00:01:31,951
signifiaient qu'on nous avait
envoyé pour faire couler leurs sangs.

29
00:01:31,957 --> 00:01:36,471
J'ai dit mais bien sûr, on faisait que passer
le message, et qu'ils ne nous sautent pas dessus.

30
00:01:36,528 --> 00:01:39,272
Puis j'ai pris mon diapason.

31
00:01:39,915 --> 00:01:41,460
Ils vous ont mis une râclée.

32
00:01:41,465 --> 00:01:43,773
Peut-être que ce n'était pas
des passionnés de musique.

33
00:01:43,815 --> 00:01:45,651
Comment vous leur avez
échappé saine et sauve ?

34
00:01:45,655 --> 00:01:49,153
J'ai suivi leurs conseils et
j'ai viré mon cul de là bas.

35
00:01:49,375 --> 00:01:55,243
Miss Carol, votre statut à la Screen actor's guild
ne vous donne pas droit à une assurance accident ?

36
00:01:55,245 --> 00:01:56,822
Non.

37
00:01:56,825 --> 00:01:58,323
C'est pour ça que nous sommes ici.

38
00:01:58,326 --> 00:02:03,582
Nous avons vu votre nom sur le tableau de la
fondation Hedda Grubman Chirurgie esthétique.

39
00:02:03,586 --> 00:02:05,431
Pour les 4 opérations ?

40
00:02:05,437 --> 00:02:11,141
En échange de vos services, nous
sommes prêts à vous en rendre un.

41
00:02:11,145 --> 00:02:12,700
Vous voulez chanter
pour vos opérations ?

42
00:02:12,705 --> 00:02:15,340
Pas juste chanter. "Deck the halls".

43
00:02:15,346 --> 00:02:17,300
Nous ouvrirons un espace
de notre magasin chez vous.

44
00:02:17,308 --> 00:02:24,523
McNamara/Troy se transformera en un conte de Noël
avec de la musique en live grâce aux Esprits de Noël.

45
00:02:26,105 --> 00:02:28,813
Mme Grubman aimait beaucoup Noël.

00:03:16,598 --> 00:03:18,423
Sean, vraiment. On a quel âge, 5 ans ?

51
00:03:18,425 --> 00:03:19,721
Oh, allons.

52
00:03:19,725 --> 00:03:21,742
On joue au Père Noël
secret depuis la fac.

53
00:03:21,746 --> 00:03:22,933
C'est une tradition.

54
00:03:22,938 --> 00:03:25,271
Tout comme la viande hâchée,
peu importe ce que c'est.

55
00:03:25,278 --> 00:03:26,720
Eh bien, je trouve que c'est mignon.

56
00:03:26,738 --> 00:03:29,631
Je veux dire que c'est sympa
d'avoir une sorte de tradition,

57
00:03:29,638 --> 00:03:33,920
notamment quand on fête tous les ans Noël
en maillot de bain avec un écran total.

58
00:03:33,925 --> 00:03:35,822
Penses-y comme une sorte de
challenge pour trouver

59
00:03:35,927 --> 00:03:38,873
quelque chose d'original et de
significatif pour moins de 10 $.

60
00:03:38,875 --> 00:03:41,831
Bien. Donc ça ne dérangera pas
un autre "tire mon doigt, Santa" ?

61
00:03:41,838 --> 00:03:45,112
Ecoute, ça fait longtemps que l'on
n'a pas été tous réunis pour Noël.

62
00:03:45,117 --> 00:03:47,622
Peut-être que c'est stupide,
mais je veux le faire, ok ?

63
00:03:47,637 --> 00:03:50,923
Je veux faire un arbre de Noël,
avoir le dîner avec la grosse dinde.

64
00:03:50,926 --> 00:03:54,561
Si on ne prend pas le temps de fêter ça
tous ensemble tant que l'on est une famille,

65
00:03:54,568 --> 00:03:57,012
on va le regretter quand on n'aura
plus la possibilité de le faire.

66
00:03:57,688 --> 00:03:59,970
Très bien. Faisons-le.

67
00:04:10,445 --> 00:04:15,413
Si on tire notre propre nom,
on balance et on recommence.

68
00:04:24,865 --> 00:04:26,572
Allô.

69
00:04:28,415 --> 00:04:30,033
À quel point ?

70
00:04:32,616 --> 00:04:35,013
Hum, on arrive.

71
00:04:36,446 --> 00:04:38,311
- Matt est à l'hôpital.
- Quoi ?

72
00:04:41,865 --> 00:04:45,712
Il a des brûlures au second degré sur 30% du
corps, en majorité sur le dos et les jambes.

73
00:04:45,718 --> 00:04:49,191
On a dû attendre ses constantes pour le stabiliser
aux urgences avant de pouvoir le transférer ici.

74
00:04:49,197 --> 00:04:51,613
Chéri, tu peux m'entendre ?
Tout va bien se passer.

75
00:04:51,615 --> 00:04:53,580
- Pouls à 160.
- Tiens le coup mon pote, d'accord ?

76
00:04:53,587 --> 00:04:56,140
- Il va avoir besoin d'une greffe.
- Nous la ferons.

77
00:04:56,145 --> 00:04:58,321
Bien. On va le préparer et
vérifier vos autorisations.

78
00:04:58,328 --> 00:05:01,680
Mon Dieu, je n'arrive pas à
comprendre comment ça a pu se produire.

79
00:05:01,686 --> 00:05:03,972
Explosion d'un laboratoire
de méthamphétamine.

80
00:05:03,978 --> 00:05:05,223
Excusez-moi.

81
00:05:05,227 --> 00:05:06,943
Explosion d'un laboratoire de méth ?

82
00:05:06,946 --> 00:05:08,342
On pensait qu'il était clean.

83
00:05:08,345 --> 00:05:09,790
Et vous ne me l'avez pas dit ?

84
00:05:09,796 --> 00:05:13,270
Il nous a dit que c'était terminé. Qu'il
avait trouvé de l'aide et avait tout en main.

85
00:05:13,277 --> 00:05:15,703
Il nous a demandé d'avoir
confiance en lui, Julia.

86
00:05:15,708 --> 00:05:17,913
On en reparlera quand
tout ça sera terminé.

87
00:05:36,476 --> 00:05:38,613
Il a de la chance d'être en vie.

88
00:05:39,848 --> 00:05:41,903
On doit se concentrer là dessus.

89
00:05:44,396 --> 00:05:47,050
Je suis en colère contre
lui aussi, tu sais ?

90
00:06:00,386 --> 00:06:03,153
Comment tu te sens, chéri ?

91
00:06:06,857 --> 00:06:08,472
L'opération s'est bien passée.

92
00:06:08,486 --> 00:06:10,763
On a dû faire une greffe.

93
00:06:11,167 --> 00:06:12,961
On a pris un peu de peau sur tes fesses.

94
00:06:12,966 --> 00:06:16,370
Tu sais, l'endroit où
tu gardes ton cerveau ?

95
00:06:17,176 --> 00:06:18,911
Merci.

96
00:06:20,286 --> 00:06:22,430
Ils ont dit que tu
avais eu de la chance.

97
00:06:22,437 --> 00:06:25,141
Que tu aurais pu être tué.

98
00:06:26,378 --> 00:06:31,300
Comment as-tu pu te faire ça à
toi même ? Je ne comprends pas.

99
00:06:36,997 --> 00:06:40,403
Dans l'ambulance, je les ai entendu.

100
00:06:41,266 --> 00:06:44,102
Ils ne pensaient pas
que j'allais m'en sortir.

101
00:06:44,106 --> 00:06:48,130
Et tout ce à quoi je n'arrêtais pas de penser
c'était Jenna, c'était abandonner mon bébé.

102
00:06:53,785 --> 00:06:56,163
Ne m'abandonnez pas, ok ?

103
00:06:56,578 --> 00:07:02,040
Personne ne va t'abandonner
toi ou ta famille.

104
00:07:02,308 --> 00:07:04,921
Tu seras sorti à temps pour Noël.

105
00:07:04,925 --> 00:07:06,683
Et nous serons tous ensemble.

106
00:07:06,685 --> 00:07:08,521
Non, on ne le sera pas.

107
00:07:08,985 --> 00:07:11,061
Tu n'es pas invité.

108
00:07:11,557 --> 00:07:13,921
Tes promesses c'est de la merde, Matt.

109
00:07:13,927 --> 00:07:15,160
J'en ai terminé de sauver tes fesses.

110
00:07:15,167 --> 00:07:19,533
J'en ai terminé avec tes mensonges, tes
pleurs pathétiques pour obtenir de l'aide.

111
00:07:19,536 --> 00:07:23,590
Tu sais ce que c'est que d'être un parent, de peler
et enlever la peau du corps de son propre enfant ?

112
00:07:23,596 --> 00:07:27,452
L'enfant que tu as mis au monde avec
tes propres mains ? J'en ai terminé !

113
00:07:33,028 --> 00:07:35,801
Ne t'inquiète pas. Il reviendra.

114
00:07:35,806 --> 00:07:37,690
Je lui parlerai.

115
00:07:47,007 --> 00:07:49,881
La balle est entrée
par un angle étrange.

116
00:07:49,886 --> 00:07:52,190
Celui qui a fait ça
devait être assez près.

117
00:07:52,195 --> 00:07:54,201
Il était assis sur mes genoux.

118
00:07:54,345 --> 00:07:57,982
Oh, donc c'était une
querelle d'amoureux.

119
00:07:57,985 --> 00:08:00,013
De quoi vous parlez ?

120
00:08:00,625 --> 00:08:03,183
C'était un enfant, de 9 ou 10 ans.

121
00:08:03,188 --> 00:08:04,702
Je suis désolé. Je croyais que...

122
00:08:04,705 --> 00:08:11,650
Ecoutez, j'avais besoin de plus de cash à
Noël dernier, donc j'ai fait le Père Noël.

123
00:08:14,556 --> 00:08:16,502
Joyeux Noël à toi, Jacob.

124
00:08:16,506 --> 00:08:18,991
Il y avait une queue d'un kilomètre.

125
00:08:19,415 --> 00:08:22,150
Le magasin fermait dans la demi heure.

126
00:08:22,277 --> 00:08:26,420
à la seconde où il a posé son pieds sur les
marches, je savais que quelque chose clochait

127
00:08:27,188 --> 00:08:31,071
Quand j'y repense, c'était un
peu comme s'il était en mission.

128
00:08:32,365 --> 00:08:34,702
Je lui ai demandé ce
qu'il voulait pour Noël.

129
00:08:34,795 --> 00:08:36,683
Comme l'année dernière.
Tu ne t'en rappelles pas ?

130
00:08:36,688 --> 00:08:41,973
A chaque Noël je te donne une liste. Une
Nintendo, un Ipod, un appareil photos digital.

131
00:08:41,975 --> 00:08:46,342
Et à chaque fois tu me dis que si
je suis gentil, j'aurais tout ça.

132
00:08:46,348 --> 00:08:47,603
Ouais, c'est ça.

133
00:08:47,606 --> 00:08:49,701
Être gentil ne rapporte
rien, n'est-ce pas ?

134
00:08:49,706 --> 00:08:52,763
Espèce de Père Noël de pacotille.

135
00:09:00,546 --> 00:09:03,061
On a tiré sur le Père Noël !

136
00:09:08,738 --> 00:09:10,883
Est-ce qu'ils ont attrapé le gosse ?

137
00:09:11,217 --> 00:09:12,652
Ouais.

138
00:09:12,657 --> 00:09:15,040
Mais je n'ai pas porté plainte.

139
00:09:15,046 --> 00:09:20,403
Franchement, le gosse en a assez
bavé. Pourquoi empirer les choses ?

140
00:09:20,858 --> 00:09:24,652
Eh bien, c'était un geste très
magnanime de votre part, M. Collins.

141
00:09:24,916 --> 00:09:29,211
Je doute que beaucoup de
gens auraient réagi ainsi.

142
00:09:31,947 --> 00:09:37,351
Il va falloir qu'on ouvre la plaie, pour
nettoyer les cicatrices et tissus abimés,

143
00:09:37,355 --> 00:09:39,350
et ensuite nous créerons quelque
chose qu'on appelle "Lambeau Limberg"

144
00:09:39,360 --> 00:09:42,391
que l'on fait tourner
dans le trou ainsi élargi.

145
00:09:42,448 --> 00:09:44,782
Je peux vous mettre sur
planning quelques jours...

146
00:09:44,780 --> 00:09:47,367
Non. Je veux que ce
soit fait maintenant.

147
00:09:47,369 --> 00:09:51,711
Je veux en finir suffisamment tôt
pour être le Père Noël le soir de Noël.

148
00:09:52,007 --> 00:09:56,301
Ecoutez, doc, je viens de passer une année entière
à être nerveux à côté des gosses, vous comprenez ?

149
00:09:56,307 --> 00:09:59,313
C'est comme les syndromes
de stress post-traumatique.

150
00:09:59,317 --> 00:10:03,201
Il faut que je remonte sur
cette selle. J'aime les gosses.

151
00:10:03,306 --> 00:10:08,110
Je ne veux pas passer ma vie à avoir
peur d'eux, ou qu'ils aient peur de moi.

152
00:10:15,106 --> 00:10:18,070
J'ai parlé de Matt à Sean.

153
00:10:18,338 --> 00:10:20,203
Il s'en remettra.

154
00:10:23,897 --> 00:10:26,600
Je me sens mal à l'aise,
de faire ça dans son dos.

155
00:10:26,608 --> 00:10:30,450
C'est pour ça qu'on devrait lui dire.
On devrait être honnête là dessus.

156
00:10:31,046 --> 00:10:33,780
J'attendrai jusqu'à
l'issue des vacances.

157
00:10:33,836 --> 00:10:38,600
C'était déjà délicat, cette année, avec
tout ce qui se passe autour de Matt.

158
00:10:38,675 --> 00:10:40,663
Ce serait de la cruauté pure et simple.

159
00:10:40,675 --> 00:10:43,743
Et concernant Olivia ? Il va
aussi falloir que tu lui dises.

160
00:10:44,416 --> 00:10:48,323
Non. Elle a assez de
choses à gérer avec Eden.

161
00:10:48,498 --> 00:10:51,721
Je veux attendre l'issue
des vacances. S'il te plaît.

162
00:10:51,726 --> 00:10:54,070
C'est important pour moi.

163
00:10:57,576 --> 00:10:59,592
Merde !

164
00:11:03,215 --> 00:11:05,340
Bon Dieu !

165
00:11:09,305 --> 00:11:11,563
Je croyais qu'il allait être sur
une opération toute l'après midi.

166
00:11:11,565 --> 00:11:12,710
Il y a sans doute eu une annulation.

167
00:11:12,715 --> 00:11:14,562
Coucou.

168
00:11:17,356 --> 00:11:20,183
Je n'irai pas dans ce placard.

169
00:11:20,187 --> 00:11:23,893
Christian. Christian ?

170
00:11:29,275 --> 00:11:31,240
Qu'est-ce que tu fabriques ?

171
00:11:32,655 --> 00:11:34,653
Juste un peu d'exercice.

172
00:11:34,656 --> 00:11:37,132
J'en fais toujours après
une bonne branlette.

173
00:11:37,147 --> 00:11:39,781
Pour m'assurer de
travailler chaque muscle.

174
00:11:40,228 --> 00:11:42,300
Je pensais qu'on irait
chercher un arbre ensemble.

175
00:11:42,307 --> 00:11:44,741
J'ai dégoté cette superbe ferme organique
qui propose des arbres sur la Troisième.

176
00:11:44,748 --> 00:11:47,381
Ils ont des sapins de Douglas et
des épicéas bleus.

177
00:11:47,395 --> 00:11:49,940
Sean, Sean, Sean !

178
00:11:49,947 --> 00:11:52,103
Je suis incapable de faire
des exercices devant un miroir

179
00:11:52,105 --> 00:11:54,262
sans avoir envie de me
branler après encore une fois.

180
00:11:56,266 --> 00:11:58,180
T'es cinglé.

181
00:12:00,448 --> 00:12:02,480
Vas-y tout seul.

182
00:12:02,485 --> 00:12:06,391
Ça peut me prendre la nuit entière.
J'ai besoin de beaucoup de préliminaires.

183
00:12:06,396 --> 00:12:07,552
J'attendrai.

184
00:12:07,555 --> 00:12:10,741
Je n'ai pas d'opération
avant deux bonnes heures.

185
00:12:25,186 --> 00:12:26,881
Tu veux un peu d'eau ou quelque chose ?

186
00:12:26,888 --> 00:12:30,220
Vire-le d'ici. J'ai un problème
avec les espaces réduits et sombres

187
00:12:30,227 --> 00:12:32,471
J'ai la sensation d'être
dans une tombe scellée.

188
00:12:32,478 --> 00:12:34,692
Christian !

189
00:12:38,296 --> 00:12:39,752
Tu as fini ?

190
00:12:39,756 --> 00:12:43,390
Oh, vas-y, mec. J'ai envie de
faire une sieste et des câlins.

191
00:12:43,397 --> 00:12:45,062
Allez. Lève-toi et on y va !

192
00:12:45,067 --> 00:12:47,902
Oh, vas-y. Je me cajole là.

193
00:12:47,905 --> 00:12:51,211
C'est pathétique d'acheter
son arbre de Noël seul.

194
00:12:51,366 --> 00:12:54,891
Avant on faisait toujours ça ensemble,
tous les trois, tu te souviens ?

195
00:12:57,157 --> 00:13:00,320
Ouais, je sais, je sais.
C'était il y a vingt ans.

196
00:13:00,335 --> 00:13:04,300
Maintenant on fait certaines choses seul, genre,
faire ses lacets ou acheter un arbre de Noël.

197
00:13:04,308 --> 00:13:05,730
Très bien.

198
00:13:06,106 --> 00:13:09,641
J'appelle Julia. Voir
si elle veut venir.

199
00:13:20,035 --> 00:13:21,510
Qu'est-ce son téléphone fabrique ici ?

200
00:13:21,517 --> 00:13:22,670
Je n'en sais rien.

201
00:13:22,686 --> 00:13:26,833
J'ai dû l'embarquer par erreur
quand on a joué au Père Noël secret.

202
00:13:28,987 --> 00:13:32,161
D'accord. Alors j'y vais seul.

203
00:13:32,165 --> 00:13:34,773
Si j'entends un mot sur
la taille ou la forme.

204
00:13:34,775 --> 00:13:37,990
Je ne suis pas une de tes copines, Sean.

205
00:13:45,398 --> 00:13:49,632
C'était génial. Faudra
qu'on se refasse ça...jamais.

206
00:13:50,357 --> 00:13:51,732
Tu as vu ma deuxième chaussure?

207
00:13:51,735 --> 00:13:53,713
Ouais.

208
00:13:55,867 --> 00:13:57,771
La voila.

209
00:14:01,627 --> 00:14:02,232
Où vas-tu ?

210
00:14:02,248 --> 00:14:04,811
Là où j'aurais du aller
au lieu de venir ici.

211
00:14:04,818 --> 00:14:06,133
Parler à Kimber.

212
00:14:06,135 --> 00:14:07,631
T'es certaine d'en sortir vivante ?

213
00:14:07,648 --> 00:14:10,343
Je ne sais pas, mais je dois essayer.

214
00:14:10,427 --> 00:14:16,212
Bon, le fait est que j'éviterai de faire
du mal à Sean et Olivia, si je le peux.

215
00:14:16,796 --> 00:14:23,862
Mais je refuse de voir mon fils se réveiller pour
avoir la sensation que tout le monde l'a abandonné

216
00:14:23,868 --> 00:14:26,361
Tu sais quoi ? Je t'accompagne.

217
00:14:27,106 --> 00:14:30,430
Il faut être au moins deux pour affronter
Kimber, l'idéal étant d'être à huit.

218
00:14:30,438 --> 00:14:32,731
Un par tentacule.

219
00:14:59,166 --> 00:15:03,441
Allez-vous-en !
Vos gueules les mouettes.

220
00:15:03,445 --> 00:15:06,363
Ebenezer Cruz, ou est
passé votre esprit de Noël ?

221
00:15:06,367 --> 00:15:09,232
Oh, la nouvelle de la naissance
de notre Sauveur me ravie.

222
00:15:09,237 --> 00:15:13,272
Mais je déteste la fête en
son honneur et la musique.

223
00:15:14,785 --> 00:15:16,580
Sérieusement, regarde ce gars.

224
00:15:16,587 --> 00:15:20,440
Se faire trouer par un gamin de dix piges
furieux de ne pas avoir eu une Nintendo.

225
00:15:20,445 --> 00:15:24,481
Les gens se retrouvent fauchés, ils
mangent trop, et ils le font seuls.

226
00:15:24,486 --> 00:15:28,782
Oh, allez, Liz. Après tant d'années, tu as toujours
besoin d'une invitation gravée dans le marbre?

227
00:15:28,788 --> 00:15:31,502
Tu passes la journée avec nous,
comme tu le fais à chaque Noël.

228
00:15:31,507 --> 00:15:32,891
Toi aussi, Linda.

229
00:15:32,895 --> 00:15:35,081
Impossible. Je golfe.

230
00:15:35,085 --> 00:15:36,750
Ce ne serait pas pareil sans toi.

231
00:15:36,756 --> 00:15:38,820
Tout le monde va venir. Julia vient.

232
00:15:38,828 --> 00:15:40,542
Et Olivia.

233
00:15:40,927 --> 00:15:43,153
Je ne crois pas pouvoir
en être non plus.

234
00:15:43,667 --> 00:15:46,363
Tu es toujours en colère avec
ce qui s'est passé avec Julia ?

235
00:15:46,597 --> 00:15:49,690
J'aimerais être
quelqu'un de mieux, Sean.

236
00:15:50,087 --> 00:15:53,661
Mais on a peut être tous les deux une leçon à
recevoir du Père Noël avec cette histoire de pardon.

237
00:15:53,665 --> 00:15:57,582
Donc tu penses que Duke a bien fait en
pardonnant le gosse qui lui a tiré dessus.

238
00:15:57,586 --> 00:16:01,460
Que cet imbécile va soudainement
être illuminé et être un ange ?

239
00:16:01,596 --> 00:16:04,853
Dans quel monde est ce que
tu vis ? "La vie en rose" ?

240
00:16:04,857 --> 00:16:07,482
Il aurait dû porter plainte
et faire enfermer le gamin,

241
00:16:07,487 --> 00:16:10,590
afin que personne d'autre ne finisse
avec un trou au milieu du visage.

242
00:16:10,626 --> 00:16:14,841
C'est ça l'amour, Sean.
C'est ça la grâce.

243
00:16:29,357 --> 00:16:32,813
M. McNamara, vous dormez ?

244
00:16:33,215 --> 00:16:36,830
Vous étiez endormi les quatre
dernières fois où je suis venue.

245
00:16:37,078 --> 00:16:40,072
Cinq est ma limite.
Je ne reviendrai pas.

246
00:16:41,647 --> 00:16:49,872
M. McNamara, les personnes défigurées après
un trauma doivent apprendre à se recréer,

247
00:16:49,955 --> 00:16:53,433
s'adapter à leur nouvelle image.

248
00:16:56,175 --> 00:17:00,601
Ecoutez, madame, mon père
est chirurgien plastique, ok ?

249
00:17:00,608 --> 00:17:04,481
Tout ira bien, alors allez
recréer quelqu'un d'autre.

250
00:17:05,886 --> 00:17:09,321
Je n'impose pas mes services aux
patients récalcitrants, habituellement.

251
00:17:09,327 --> 00:17:12,621
Les résultats sont rarement probants.

252
00:17:12,918 --> 00:17:17,961
Cependant, après avoir lu
vos antécédents médicaux,

253
00:17:17,988 --> 00:17:21,843
je pense que vous avez
définitivement besoin de recréation.

254
00:17:22,095 --> 00:17:25,090
Vous êtes plus que positif au crack.

255
00:17:25,376 --> 00:17:27,010
Je suis Rachel Ben-Natan,

256
00:17:27,018 --> 00:17:33,292
votre conseillère en réhabilitation des
grands brûlés. Je suis là pour vous assister.

257
00:17:34,476 --> 00:17:36,701
Comment est-ce arrivé ?

258
00:17:37,376 --> 00:17:39,811
C'était une attaque de falafel.

259
00:17:39,978 --> 00:17:43,362
Vous savez, ces
sandwichs de pains pita ?

260
00:17:44,068 --> 00:17:45,991
Il m'en fallait un.

261
00:17:45,997 --> 00:17:50,681
Donc je suis allée à la
cafétéria de l'université,

262
00:17:50,927 --> 00:17:56,782
je me suis assise à une
table face à un beau garçon.

263
00:17:57,015 --> 00:18:01,192
J'étais plutôt jolie. Je
pouvais avoir qui je voulais.

264
00:18:02,167 --> 00:18:07,182
Lorsqu'il s'est éloigné, je me suis dit qu'il
était gay et suis retournée à mon falafel.

265
00:18:07,275 --> 00:18:11,381
J'étais sur le point de prendre une première
bouchée lorsqu'il s'est fait exploser.

266
00:18:11,865 --> 00:18:14,491
Sept étudiants sont morts.

267
00:18:14,996 --> 00:18:19,682
Il y avait du sang, des membres,
et des morceaux de chair partout.

268
00:18:19,687 --> 00:18:23,400
Je ne sais pas comment j'ai
survécu. J'ai eu beaucoup de chance.

269
00:18:23,406 --> 00:18:25,552
Vous croyez que vous
avez eu de la chance ?

270
00:18:26,888 --> 00:18:31,880
J'ai perdu mon goût pour les
falafels, mais j'ai toujours la vie.

271
00:18:32,246 --> 00:18:34,081
Avez-vous marché dans
les couloirs aujourd'hui ?

272
00:18:34,087 --> 00:18:36,993
Non. Ca fait toujours mal.

273
00:18:36,998 --> 00:18:39,490
Ca fera encore plus mal
si vous ne marchez pas.

274
00:18:40,116 --> 00:18:41,461
Et si je dis non ?

275
00:18:41,466 --> 00:18:43,111
Essayez pour voir.

276
00:18:43,527 --> 00:18:47,322
Je devrais vous prévenir, j'ai passé
deux ans dans l'armée israélienne.

277
00:18:50,458 --> 00:18:52,143
Ok.

278
00:19:08,105 --> 00:19:13,753
Et joyeux Noël à la plus
grosse bite de la ville.

279
00:19:13,756 --> 00:19:16,130
Continue, Danny boy.

280
00:19:19,896 --> 00:19:21,830
Qu'est-ce que tu dis de ça, hein ?

281
00:19:23,385 --> 00:19:26,461
Bien, continue ton affaire.
On s'amusera plus tard.

282
00:19:27,437 --> 00:19:29,110
Alors, qui sont les intrus ?

283
00:19:29,115 --> 00:19:32,822
Personne. Juste quelques
fantômes de Noël.

284
00:19:32,827 --> 00:19:35,463
Tu pourrais rester tout près, parce que
je pourrais avoir besoin de toi.

285
00:19:35,466 --> 00:19:37,710
Joyeux Noël, Julia.

286
00:19:37,805 --> 00:19:39,273
Tu voudrais tenir Jenna ?

287
00:19:39,276 --> 00:19:40,780
Oui. Je peux ?

288
00:19:40,797 --> 00:19:43,210
Non. Tu ne peux pas.

289
00:19:43,425 --> 00:19:45,410
Emily, tu peux emmener
Jenna à la garderie.

290
00:19:45,416 --> 00:19:47,760
Oh, si comprends bien vous
êtes les parents de Mattie.

291
00:19:47,765 --> 00:19:52,043
Je vous promets que votre petite-fille
aura tout ce que l'argent peut lui donner.

292
00:19:52,047 --> 00:19:55,173
Bien. Pour qu'elle
grandisse comme sa mère.

293
00:19:55,178 --> 00:19:58,392
Oh, je ne crois pas qu'il faille
attendre des miracles, pas vrai ?

294
00:19:58,468 --> 00:20:00,633
On ne voudrait pas
lui mettre la pression.

295
00:20:00,637 --> 00:20:05,330
Ram va m'épouser, puis adopter Jenna
une fois que nous serons chacun divorcés.

296
00:20:05,336 --> 00:20:07,042
Eh bien, c'est pour cela
que nous sommes là, Kimber,

297
00:20:07,047 --> 00:20:10,393
Nous avons pensé que tu voudrais
savoir que Matt a eu un incident.

298
00:20:10,395 --> 00:20:13,073
Il est à l'hôpital et il
est très gravement brûlé.

299
00:20:13,078 --> 00:20:14,762
En fabriquant du crack, pas vrai ?

300
00:20:14,767 --> 00:20:16,752
Eh bien, Dieu merci
Jenna était avec moi.

301
00:20:16,755 --> 00:20:21,062
Tu n’es pas faite pour être près de
cette enfant, Kimber, et tu le sais.

302
00:20:21,068 --> 00:20:22,643
Oh, quoi ? Pourquoi tu
serais une bonne mère ?

303
00:20:22,645 --> 00:20:23,982
Parce que tu as été à la fac ?

304
00:20:23,986 --> 00:20:26,510
Ou parce que tu n'as jamais eu à
travailler un seul jour de ta vie ?

305
00:20:26,516 --> 00:20:29,151
Parce que j'étais occupée
à élever une famille.

306
00:20:29,156 --> 00:20:30,723
Ouais. Et tu étais nulle.

307
00:20:30,725 --> 00:20:32,481
Tu lui as tout pris, Kimber.

308
00:20:32,488 --> 00:20:35,392
Son identité, son argent, son futur.

309
00:20:35,397 --> 00:20:38,131
Tu ne vas pas lui prendre son enfant.

310
00:20:38,135 --> 00:20:41,941
Vous ne pensez pas que cette enfant
serait mieux avec Kimber et moi,

311
00:20:41,946 --> 00:20:44,930
plutôt qu'avec un merdeux près à être
filmé en train de se faire enculer

312
00:20:44,938 --> 00:20:46,890
juste pour toper un peu plus de dope ?

313
00:20:46,946 --> 00:20:50,232
C'est mon fils, espèce
de mac suceur de bite.

314
00:20:50,368 --> 00:20:53,043
Vous ne saviez pas que
Matt avait bossé ici ?

315
00:20:53,095 --> 00:20:57,062
Oh, oui. Ram l'avait casté
sur "First Time Fairies".

316
00:20:57,306 --> 00:20:59,441
En tant que passif. C'est lui que...

317
00:20:59,448 --> 00:21:01,353
Arrête, Kimber. Tu mens.

318
00:21:01,356 --> 00:21:04,573
C'est la seule chose pour laquelle elle
est bonne, à part écarter les cuisses.

319
00:21:04,578 --> 00:21:07,963
Ouais. Eh bien, ma fille aura tout.

320
00:21:07,965 --> 00:21:13,131
Elle aura des fringues de couturier, de la
bouffe de gourmet, et deux parents qui l'aiment.

321
00:21:13,137 --> 00:21:14,863
Qu'est-ce que Matt va lui donner ?

322
00:21:14,868 --> 00:21:16,011
De la drogue ?

323
00:21:16,016 --> 00:21:19,203
Arrêter de vouloir sauver mon enfant
quand vous ne pouvez pas sauver le votre.

324
00:21:19,205 --> 00:21:23,642
Tu peux escorter ces
grands-parents dehors ?

325
00:21:25,748 --> 00:21:27,503
Hé !

326
00:21:27,836 --> 00:21:29,731
Joyeux Noël.

327
00:22:34,648 --> 00:22:36,771
Salut, Julia.

328
00:22:39,367 --> 00:22:41,100
J'ai préparé un gâteau aux fruits.

329
00:22:41,115 --> 00:22:44,250
C'est la recette d'une des ex de maman.

330
00:22:44,258 --> 00:22:48,093
C'était une vraie conasse,
mais une pure pâtissière.

331
00:22:48,535 --> 00:22:52,622
Oh, au moins il y a quelque
chose que tu aimais chez elle.

332
00:22:53,188 --> 00:22:54,993
Je l'ai fait pour toi.

333
00:22:54,998 --> 00:22:57,640
C'est une sorte de gage de paix.

334
00:22:58,247 --> 00:22:59,721
Tu veux faire la paix, Eden ?

335
00:22:59,726 --> 00:23:04,392
Il va falloir plus qu'un gâteau aux
fruits, après tout ce que tu as fait.

336
00:23:04,647 --> 00:23:07,600
Tu as toutes les raisons
de me haïr, Julia.

337
00:23:07,607 --> 00:23:10,011
Mon truc avec Sean est inexcusable.

338
00:23:10,017 --> 00:23:12,513
Un genre de jeu, j'imagine.

339
00:23:12,907 --> 00:23:15,281
Je devrais retourner en thérapie.

340
00:23:15,365 --> 00:23:17,813
Ma colère contre toi.

341
00:23:18,365 --> 00:23:21,790
Je me sens vraiment mal vis-à-vis
de la façon dont je me suis conduite.

342
00:23:24,095 --> 00:23:25,863
Ecoute.

343
00:23:26,408 --> 00:23:30,973
Tu aimes ma mère, ma mère t'aime.

344
00:23:32,525 --> 00:23:35,062
Je n'ai jamais eu de famille.

345
00:23:35,078 --> 00:23:37,763
Peut-être que ça pourrait en être une.

346
00:23:42,465 --> 00:23:46,503
J'adorais ça quand j'étais jeune.

347
00:23:48,328 --> 00:23:50,882
C'est si gras.

348
00:23:52,767 --> 00:23:55,051
Une bouchée ne fera pas de mal.

349
00:24:10,195 --> 00:24:12,853
Tu fais quoi à Noël ?

350
00:24:14,958 --> 00:24:16,863
Rien vraiment.

351
00:24:16,878 --> 00:24:20,983
Je vais aller voir un
film ou je sais pas.

352
00:24:21,668 --> 00:24:24,170
Je sais que maman sera avec toi.

353
00:24:24,177 --> 00:24:26,320
C'est pas grave.

354
00:24:27,406 --> 00:24:29,780
Pourquoi ne te
joindrais-tu pas à nous ?

355
00:24:31,698 --> 00:24:34,341
C'est vraiment gentil de ta part, Julia,

356
00:24:34,378 --> 00:24:38,170
mais je ne crois pas que
Sean appréciera ma compagnie.

357
00:24:38,437 --> 00:24:42,130
Oh, je ne sais pas.
Tu sais, ça pourrait l'aider.

358
00:24:42,135 --> 00:24:44,773
Pardonner et avancer.

359
00:24:46,766 --> 00:24:48,752
J'aimerais venir.

360
00:24:53,677 --> 00:24:55,530
Ok.

361
00:25:02,536 --> 00:25:04,641
C'est délicieux.

362
00:25:06,748 --> 00:25:08,723
C'est ce dont je me rappelle
avec le gâteau aux fruits.

363
00:25:09,028 --> 00:25:12,882
Une fois qu'on commence,
c'est dur de s'arrêter.

364
00:25:14,247 --> 00:25:16,413
Eh bien, je garde le
reste pour plus tard.

365
00:25:16,418 --> 00:25:19,200
Tu pourras en prendre
quand tu le souhaites.

366
00:25:20,506 --> 00:25:23,892
Maman ne l'aime pas, de toute façon.

367
00:25:24,816 --> 00:25:27,373
Il est tout à toi.

368
00:25:38,098 --> 00:25:41,052
Encore quelques pas, M. McNamara.

369
00:25:42,456 --> 00:25:43,873
Les Israéliennes sont toutes...

370
00:25:43,875 --> 00:25:47,100
Pressantes ? Oui, c'est génétique.

371
00:25:50,676 --> 00:25:52,933
Repos, soldat.

372
00:25:54,975 --> 00:25:57,582
Vous vous êtes entraînée longtemps ?

373
00:25:58,188 --> 00:26:00,370
Pas longtemps.

374
00:26:00,577 --> 00:26:04,152
On n'attend pas des femmes
qu'elles se battent, Dieu merci.

375
00:26:04,158 --> 00:26:07,352
Vous ne vouliez pas
défendre votre pays ?

376
00:26:07,946 --> 00:26:11,781
Ce que je voulais,
c'était trouver un mari.

377
00:26:12,076 --> 00:26:21,173
Tous ces beaux tas de muscles en uniforme,
bronzés, et privés de sexe par le désert.

378
00:26:21,666 --> 00:26:24,620
Après l'armée, vous êtes donc allée
à la fac pour étudier la psychologie.

379
00:26:24,638 --> 00:26:27,250
Non. Pour trouver un mari.

380
00:26:28,887 --> 00:26:30,803
Salut, Matt.

381
00:26:31,996 --> 00:26:33,091
Est-ce que je vous interromps ?

382
00:26:33,098 --> 00:26:34,912
On finissait.

383
00:26:34,918 --> 00:26:38,133
Reposez-vous, demain on fera le double.

384
00:26:38,137 --> 00:26:41,041
Rachel, restez, s'il vous plait.

385
00:26:41,048 --> 00:26:45,171
Voici Rachel Ben-Natan,
ma thérapeute et bourreau.

386
00:26:45,177 --> 00:26:49,001
Ma mère, Julia McNamara, et un
de mes pères, Christian Troy.

387
00:26:49,006 --> 00:26:50,792
Matt a deux papas.

388
00:26:50,797 --> 00:26:52,470
- Enchanté.
- Quelle chance vous avez.

389
00:26:52,478 --> 00:26:53,942
Ouais, c'est la fête.

390
00:26:53,947 --> 00:26:57,950
On vient de voir Kimber.

391
00:26:59,018 --> 00:27:01,433
Comment va Jenna ? Bien ?

392
00:27:02,367 --> 00:27:05,442
Kimber veut garder Jenna, Matt.

393
00:27:07,995 --> 00:27:10,682
Je dois lui parler, et lui
montrer que j'ai changé.

394
00:27:10,686 --> 00:27:13,713
Elle demande le divorce,
elle va se marier avec Ram,

395
00:27:13,717 --> 00:27:16,582
Et ils ont un dossier à charge
au cas où tu demanderais la garde.

396
00:27:16,585 --> 00:27:19,333
Je vais me battre pour elle.
Elle est tout ce que j'ai.

397
00:27:19,338 --> 00:27:23,753
Tu crois vraiment être capable
de t'occuper d'un enfant ?

398
00:27:23,756 --> 00:27:26,623
Elle n'attendra pas
que tu deviennes adulte.

399
00:27:27,525 --> 00:27:30,170
Merci. Papa d'abord, et toi maintenant ?
Quelqu'un d'autre veut s'y mettre ?

400
00:27:30,176 --> 00:27:34,332
Voyons, Matt. Tu penses vraiment
qu'un juge sensé te donnera la garde ?

401
00:27:34,408 --> 00:27:35,482
Franchement...

402
00:27:35,498 --> 00:27:37,662
C'est quoi le problème avec vous ?

403
00:27:37,667 --> 00:27:39,362
Écoute-moi, Matt.

404
00:27:39,368 --> 00:27:43,072
Tu veux reprendre ta fille ?
Trouve un moyen, ou crée-le.

405
00:27:43,076 --> 00:27:46,782
Et arrête de compter sur
tes parents pour t'aider.

406
00:27:53,686 --> 00:27:55,582
Je reviens.

407
00:28:04,488 --> 00:28:06,293
Ça va ?

408
00:28:06,296 --> 00:28:10,013
Oui. Je me sens...

409
00:28:10,317 --> 00:28:15,891
juste un peu déprimée et
dépassée par les événements.

410
00:28:16,495 --> 00:28:18,182
S'il vous plait, madame.

411
00:28:18,187 --> 00:28:19,841
Je ne m'excuserai pas.

412
00:28:19,846 --> 00:28:21,270
Je pensais chaque mot que j'ai dit

413
00:28:21,276 --> 00:28:22,340
Était-ce de l'amour vache ?

414
00:28:22,348 --> 00:28:25,000
L'honnêteté. Vous devriez essayer.

415
00:28:32,365 --> 00:28:35,120
Je suis chirurgien plastique.

416
00:28:35,136 --> 00:28:40,210
Votre salaire ne doit pas être élevé,
je vous offre mes services gratuitement.

417
00:28:40,215 --> 00:28:43,422
Pourquoi ? Vous pensez que
j'aurais dû y avoir recours ?

418
00:28:44,078 --> 00:28:47,370
Puisque « honnêteté »
est le mot du jour,

419
00:28:47,378 --> 00:28:49,650
je pourrais faire une série de greffes,

420
00:28:49,655 --> 00:28:51,453
restructurer votre courbe osseuse.

421
00:28:51,456 --> 00:28:54,061
Vous pourriez me rendre ma beauté.

422
00:28:54,067 --> 00:28:56,541
Merci, docteur, mais ce sera non.

423
00:28:56,647 --> 00:29:00,953
Ça peut vous paraître difficile à croire,
mais je suis plutôt heureuse ainsi.

424
00:29:00,955 --> 00:29:02,191
Une martyre ?

425
00:29:02,196 --> 00:29:04,433
Une survivante.

426
00:29:05,035 --> 00:29:09,340
Un exemple vivant de ce qu'on
peut endurer et traverser.

427
00:29:22,425 --> 00:29:24,672
- Est-ce que ça va ?
- Oui.

428
00:29:24,676 --> 00:29:26,771
T'es un peu pâle.

429
00:29:26,998 --> 00:29:30,511
Je dois avoir attrapé
un virus qui traîne.

430
00:29:30,515 --> 00:29:32,091
- Les voilà !
- T'es sûre ?

431
00:29:32,095 --> 00:29:34,260
Je ne peux pas croire
que je les ai trouvés.

432
00:29:34,266 --> 00:29:35,900
Qu'est-ce qu'il se passe ?

433
00:29:35,905 --> 00:29:37,380
Quoi ?

434
00:29:37,426 --> 00:29:42,080
Oh, rien. J'ai dû me lever trop vite.

435
00:29:42,088 --> 00:29:45,082
Ces photos sont celles
de première année.

436
00:29:45,087 --> 00:29:48,190
Le réveillon de Noël, avant et
après que le sapin a pris feu.

437
00:29:48,196 --> 00:29:51,541
Allez-y, marrez-vous. Ce n'est
pas vous qui avez été sinistré.

438
00:29:51,545 --> 00:29:53,852
Ces "Penthouse" étaient d'époque.

439
00:29:53,855 --> 00:29:55,130
Irremplaçables.

440
00:29:55,138 --> 00:29:57,373
Merci beaucoup.

441
00:30:02,658 --> 00:30:04,332
Allô.

442
00:30:05,488 --> 00:30:11,140
Oui. Eh bien, on allait se
donner nos "secrets de Noël".

443
00:30:11,626 --> 00:30:14,773
Ok, oui je peux te voir plus tard.

444
00:30:15,726 --> 00:30:17,931
Ouais.

445
00:30:18,065 --> 00:30:20,361
Toi aussi. Salut.

446
00:30:21,408 --> 00:30:26,093
C'était Olivia.
On dîne ensemble plus tard.

447
00:30:26,195 --> 00:30:27,722
Je vois que t'as récupéré ton téléphone.

448
00:30:27,736 --> 00:30:30,762
Pardon ? Ah, oui.

449
00:30:30,765 --> 00:30:35,493
Je perds tout en ce moment.

450
00:30:36,345 --> 00:30:39,363
Qui commence ?

451
00:30:39,366 --> 00:30:40,362
Moi.

452
00:30:40,368 --> 00:30:45,652
Même si je doute que l'on batte le
cadre "J'aime ma bite" de l'an dernier.

453
00:30:45,655 --> 00:30:47,921
C'était bien, ça, non ?

454
00:30:49,767 --> 00:30:51,592
Merci, père Noël.

455
00:30:52,265 --> 00:30:53,611
Ok.

456
00:30:53,615 --> 00:30:55,140
Chouette papier, mon préféré.

457
00:30:56,217 --> 00:31:00,532
« McNamara/Troy, mettez
vos seins entre nos mains. »

458
00:31:00,537 --> 00:31:03,023
Je me suis dit que ça marchait
pour 80% de notre clientèle.

459
00:31:03,038 --> 00:31:05,273
De mieux en mieux, non ?

460
00:31:05,275 --> 00:31:07,022
À moi.

461
00:31:10,315 --> 00:31:13,411
Un string comestible. Hilarant.

462
00:31:13,417 --> 00:31:15,771
Le dessert pour Olivia.

463
00:31:15,778 --> 00:31:17,092
Très drôle.

464
00:31:17,095 --> 00:31:18,913
J'en ai un autre.

465
00:31:18,918 --> 00:31:20,780
On ne devait pas dépasser !

466
00:31:20,786 --> 00:31:23,513
- Oui, bon...
- Ça rend les notres ridicules.

467
00:31:25,555 --> 00:31:28,231
Elles sont magnifiques.

468
00:31:30,845 --> 00:31:33,252
Elles n'étaient pas si chères.

469
00:31:33,255 --> 00:31:42,252
Je les ai vues, je me suis dit qu'elles
lui iraient bien, je les ai prises.

470
00:31:44,035 --> 00:31:48,483
Je pensais qu'elles
iraient bien avec tes yeux.

471
00:31:48,588 --> 00:31:51,892
Merci, Christian, tu n'aurais pas dû.

472
00:31:56,545 --> 00:31:59,313
Vous couchez ensemble.

473
00:32:01,106 --> 00:32:04,542
Sean, je lui ai juste
achetée des boucles d'oreille.

474
00:32:05,628 --> 00:32:09,573
Le téléphone, les caresses.

475
00:32:12,917 --> 00:32:14,783
Quel con j'ai été.

476
00:32:14,785 --> 00:32:16,440
Personne ne l'est. Tu ne devrais pas...

477
00:32:16,448 --> 00:32:17,701
Quoi ?

478
00:32:17,717 --> 00:32:20,433
Le prendre pour moi ?
Me sentir concerné ?

479
00:32:20,436 --> 00:32:23,651
Elle n'est plus ma femme,
qu'est-ce qu'on en a à foutre ?

480
00:32:26,495 --> 00:32:27,191
Depuis combien de temps ?

481
00:32:27,207 --> 00:32:29,530
Sean, je suis désolée.

482
00:32:29,547 --> 00:32:31,592
C'est arrivé comme ça.

483
00:32:31,837 --> 00:32:34,880
Vous comptiez me le dire quand ?

484
00:32:35,248 --> 00:32:37,133
À Noël ?

485
00:32:37,207 --> 00:32:39,051
Au jour de l'an ?

486
00:32:39,256 --> 00:32:43,372
Ou est-ce que vous vouliez que je vous prenne
sur le fait en rentrant plus tôt par erreur ?

487
00:32:45,897 --> 00:32:48,133
Tu étais là ce jour.

488
00:32:48,366 --> 00:32:50,161
Quand le téléphone...

489
00:32:50,618 --> 00:32:52,940
Qu'est-ce que t'as fait,
tu t’es planqué sous le lit?

490
00:32:52,946 --> 00:32:54,832
Dans le placard.

491
00:32:56,327 --> 00:32:57,301
Mon Dieu.

492
00:32:57,308 --> 00:33:01,472
Sean, tu sais, je suis désolée
et on voulait te le dire,

493
00:33:01,477 --> 00:33:04,683
mais... je voulais juste
attendre la fin des vacances.

494
00:33:04,698 --> 00:33:06,042
Très bien. Très bien.

495
00:33:06,047 --> 00:33:08,820
Vous comptiez nous faire asseoir Oli et moi et
nous annoncer la bonne nouvelle au même moment  ?

496
00:33:08,826 --> 00:33:11,163
Mais quelle est la différence ?

497
00:33:11,618 --> 00:33:13,331
Je veux dire, sérieusement.

498
00:33:13,486 --> 00:33:15,602
Ecoute, je sais que c’est pas
facile, mais vous n’êtes plus ensemble.

499
00:33:15,605 --> 00:33:16,582
C’est pas comme si on te faisait cocu.

500
00:33:16,587 --> 00:33:19,501
T’es qu’une pauvre merde qui pige rien !

501
00:33:34,355 --> 00:33:36,691
On s’aime, Sean.

502
00:34:31,167 --> 00:34:33,163
Tu es parti plus tôt ce matin.

503
00:34:33,165 --> 00:34:37,243
Je me suis dit que ça ne servait à rien
de rester au lit si je ne dormais pas.

504
00:34:38,888 --> 00:34:42,600
Il y a un grand avantage à
quitter la maison avant 5h.

505
00:34:43,647 --> 00:34:45,881
Il n’y a pas de circulation.

506
00:34:52,298 --> 00:34:56,731
Ecoute, on a surmonté assez de choses
au fil des années pour se séparer.

507
00:34:56,805 --> 00:35:00,701
Mais finalement, on
finit à nouveau ensemble.

508
00:35:01,207 --> 00:35:08,193
Je ne peux pas imaginer quoi que ce soit dans le monde
qui pourrait changer cela, à part peut-être Julia.

509
00:35:08,195 --> 00:35:12,822
Donc, je ne la verrai plus si
cela représente tant pour toi.

510
00:35:14,456 --> 00:35:19,253
Oh, allez. C’est pas comme si tu
étais M. Célibat en l’attendant.

511
00:35:20,106 --> 00:35:23,693
Pourquoi tu n’es pas tout simplement allé
à New York pour coucher avec elle là bas ?

512
00:35:24,125 --> 00:35:25,680
Ou fallait-il que tu
me suives jusqu'ici

513
00:35:25,688 --> 00:35:28,773
pour le faire devant mon nez parce que c’est le
seul moyen pour toi de vraiment prendre ton pied ?

514
00:35:28,777 --> 00:35:31,293
On ne le fait pas pour te
causer de la peine, d’accord ?

515
00:35:31,295 --> 00:35:34,751
On le fait pour voir si
enfin, ça colle bien entre nous.

516
00:35:35,638 --> 00:35:36,872
Mais.

517
00:35:39,655 --> 00:35:42,212
Je ne le ferai pas sans ta bénédiction.

518
00:35:47,036 --> 00:35:49,373
Je ne sais pas si je peux te la donner.

519
00:35:51,065 --> 00:35:53,111
Te donner ma bénédiction.

520
00:35:57,725 --> 00:35:59,761
Je ne sais vraiment pas.

521
00:36:09,795 --> 00:36:11,900
Ça à l’air bien, doc.

522
00:36:12,186 --> 00:36:16,342
Maintenant je peux me regarder
sans voir ce gamin, le pistolet.

523
00:36:16,358 --> 00:36:19,001
Eh bien, Père Noël vous êtes
un bien meilleur homme que moi.

524
00:36:19,005 --> 00:36:21,090
Alors vous devez être un sacré connard.

525
00:36:21,095 --> 00:36:24,050
Excusez moi. Je suis en
consultation privée avec un patient.

526
00:36:24,056 --> 00:36:26,241
Allez. Dis lui.

527
00:36:26,796 --> 00:36:30,310
N’aie pas peur. Dis le lui.

528
00:36:36,998 --> 00:36:39,070
Je suis désolé, papa.

529
00:36:39,076 --> 00:36:41,443
Désolé de t’avoir tiré dessus.

530
00:36:43,188 --> 00:36:44,970
Tu l’as fait, mon chéri.

531
00:36:44,976 --> 00:36:47,212
Tu as tendu l’autre joue.

532
00:36:47,225 --> 00:36:50,163
Chéri, va m’attendre dehors.
J’en ai pour une seconde.

533
00:36:51,875 --> 00:36:53,883
C’est votre fils qui vous a tiré dessus?

534
00:36:53,888 --> 00:36:56,080
C’est une longue histoire, doc.

535
00:36:56,355 --> 00:36:57,520
Comment m’as-tu trouvé, Nancy ?

536
00:36:57,528 --> 00:37:00,751
J’ai suivi l’argent,
comme à chaque fois.

537
00:37:00,857 --> 00:37:02,951
Je suis allée pour me faire
rembourser des frais de justice,

538
00:37:02,955 --> 00:37:08,210
et ils m’ont dit qu’un virement d’un ancien parti
avait été accepté pour une opération d’urgence ?

539
00:37:08,218 --> 00:37:10,311
Ca n’est pas ton argent, Duke.

540
00:37:10,318 --> 00:37:12,090
C’est le sien !

541
00:37:12,616 --> 00:37:14,831
Vous auriez dû être franc
avec nous avant l’opération.

542
00:37:14,838 --> 00:37:16,500
Je veux que vous sortiez.

543
00:37:16,506 --> 00:37:17,900
Allez, mec.

544
00:37:17,905 --> 00:37:21,060
Ce petit bâtard me tire dessus et
après elle me demande un pension ?

545
00:37:21,067 --> 00:37:25,023
J’attends toujours tes
excuses pour ça, Duke.

546
00:37:25,447 --> 00:37:35,763
"Désolé, fiston, de t’avoir abandonné, de t’avoir
laissé tomber, d’avoir fait comme si tu n’existais pas!"

547
00:37:39,125 --> 00:37:41,870
Pas maintenant ! Allez vous en!

548
00:37:43,978 --> 00:37:48,543
Tu as mis ce pistolet dans
sa main et tu l’as armé.

549
00:37:48,966 --> 00:37:52,093
Il ne lui restait plus
qu’à presser la détente.

550
00:37:52,758 --> 00:37:54,963
Prends ça.

551
00:39:29,387 --> 00:39:31,640
Tu as besoin d’un coup de main ?

552
00:39:31,925 --> 00:39:33,031
Non.

553
00:39:33,046 --> 00:39:35,692
J’en ai deux à moi.

554
00:39:37,106 --> 00:39:39,710
Je viens pour te demander
de rentrer à la maison.

555
00:39:39,895 --> 00:39:42,303
Passe Noël avec ta famille.

556
00:39:42,578 --> 00:39:44,141
Merci.

557
00:39:44,906 --> 00:39:48,342
C’est bon. J’ai déjà des plans.

558
00:39:51,386 --> 00:39:58,441
Tu sais, quand mon père est parti,
je pensais réussir à le gérer.

559
00:39:58,456 --> 00:40:01,671
Il m’a lâché, je l’ai
lâché ce fils de pute.

560
00:40:01,678 --> 00:40:03,880
Je pensais l’avoir à
peu près sous contrôle.

561
00:40:03,888 --> 00:40:09,591
La peine, la solitude, la colère.

562
00:40:10,085 --> 00:40:15,772
Je le réitère en te faisant
la même chose qu’il m’a faite.

563
00:40:15,866 --> 00:40:18,020
Ecoute, papa, Je ne
t’en tiens pas rigueur.

564
00:40:18,026 --> 00:40:19,230
Il ne pouvait pas s’en empêcher.

565
00:40:19,238 --> 00:40:23,651
Il ne pouvait pas être différent avec moi
à cause de ce que son père lui avait fait.

566
00:40:23,885 --> 00:40:28,570
On ne fait que réitérer les
même conneries encore et encore.

567
00:40:28,576 --> 00:40:32,333
Et je veux juste que ça...
Je veux que ça s’arrête.

568
00:40:39,357 --> 00:40:41,020
Tiens.

569
00:40:42,526 --> 00:40:44,292
Qu’est-ce que c’est ?

570
00:40:44,298 --> 00:40:49,901
Quelque chose qu’il m'a
laissé avant de partir.

571
00:40:50,536 --> 00:40:54,703
Il m’a dit que c’était une boite dans
laquelle il fallait que je mette mes rêves.

572
00:40:54,707 --> 00:40:57,782
Je me suis dit que c’était inutile.

573
00:40:58,198 --> 00:41:02,883
Mon seul rêve était de le revoir.

574
00:41:03,697 --> 00:41:06,281
Mais j’en ai un autre.

575
00:41:09,207 --> 00:41:11,512
Que tu me pardonnes.

576
00:41:12,667 --> 00:41:17,543
Je ne veux pas te laisser tomber, Matt.

577
00:41:18,005 --> 00:41:20,810
Je ne veux pas que tu me laisses tomber.

578
00:41:29,867 --> 00:41:32,150
Garde la.

579
00:41:33,265 --> 00:41:35,773
Elle est faite pour tes rêves.

580
00:41:36,937 --> 00:41:39,371
Je dois trouver la mienne.

581
00:41:39,756 --> 00:41:43,561
Tout ce que je sais pour le moment
c’est que je ne serai jamais un homme

582
00:41:43,668 --> 00:41:48,681
ou un père décent tant que je
n’aurais pas cessé d’être ton enfant.

583
00:41:55,896 --> 00:42:02,320
Ça me ferait quand même plaisir
que tu passes Noël avec moi. Avec nous.

584
00:42:02,856 --> 00:42:04,970
Que tu sois autour de
personnes qui t’aiment.

585
00:42:04,987 --> 00:42:06,843
Je le passe avec Rachel.

586
00:42:06,848 --> 00:42:08,630
Vu que je ne peux pas
être avec Jenna à Noël,

587
00:42:08,646 --> 00:42:10,880
je me suis dit que le passer
avec Rachel et ses enfants

588
00:42:10,886 --> 00:42:13,132
pourrait atténuer la
chose un peu, tu vois?

589
00:42:13,137 --> 00:42:14,332
Elle a des enfants ?

590
00:42:14,335 --> 00:42:18,760
Elle en a 24. Tous dans
l’unité des enfants brûlés.

591
00:42:19,426 --> 00:42:23,913
Ça ma fait plaisir de te voir, papa.
Joyeux Noël.

592
00:43:21,296 --> 00:43:23,490
Je suis content que
tu aies changé d’avis.

593
00:43:28,898 --> 00:43:31,450
- Matt viens ?
- Non.

594
00:43:31,455 --> 00:43:33,572
Peut-être l’année prochaine.

595
00:43:34,107 --> 00:43:35,531
Ok.

596
00:43:35,688 --> 00:43:38,470
- Alors, tu as envie d’un martini de fête ?
- Ouais.

597
00:43:38,476 --> 00:43:41,743
C’est un martini normal sauf
qu’il y a beaucoup plus de vodka.

598
00:43:42,187 --> 00:43:46,033
Hé, merci d’être venu.

599
00:43:48,497 --> 00:43:51,120
Ca ne serait pas pareil sans toi.

600
00:43:51,125 --> 00:43:54,053
Je sais à quel point ça
doit être dur pour toi.

601
00:43:54,056 --> 00:43:56,911
Ne pas être là serait encore plus dur.

602
00:43:57,808 --> 00:44:00,110
C’est parti.

603
00:44:02,188 --> 00:44:04,023
À la votre.

1
00:00:00,641 --> 00:00:04,131
- Ms. Mckracken, tell us--
- It's not Mckracken. It's Carol.

2
00:00:04,437 --> 00:00:07,119
Mckracken is something
I just use for legal stuff--

3
00:00:07,257 --> 00:00:09,786
Divorce papers, bankruptcy notice,
that sort of thing.

4
00:00:09,939 --> 00:00:13,418
- And Carol is your maiden name.
- No. My professional name

5
00:00:13,627 --> 00:00:15,436
As in Christmas carol.

6
00:00:15,941 --> 00:00:18,700
I manage the Deck the Halls store
in Reseda,

7
00:00:18,991 --> 00:00:21,826
spreading cheer throughout the year
with the widest assortment

8
00:00:21,949 --> 00:00:25,014
of Christmas decorations
south of the North Pole.

9
00:00:25,328 --> 00:00:27,781
Oh, and these
are the spirits of Christmas.

10
00:00:30,554 --> 00:00:33,857
Somebody have a little too much
eggnog and crashed the sleigh?

11
00:00:34,109 --> 00:00:36,201
No. We don't drink and drive.

12
00:00:36,470 --> 00:00:38,906
We stroll and sing.

13
00:00:48,300 --> 00:00:50,086
You're professional carolers.

14
00:00:50,260 --> 00:00:53,264
We're all proud members of
the screen actors guild,

15
00:00:53,417 --> 00:00:55,026
on honorary withdrawal.

16
00:00:55,195 --> 00:00:57,486
Deck the Halls keeps us
in bread pudding year round

17
00:00:57,648 --> 00:01:00,789
so that we can give the gift
of live music for free.

18
00:01:01,126 --> 00:01:04,881
That's what we were trying to do
before our trip to Venice.

19
00:01:05,035 --> 00:01:08,207
- Oh, your group performed in Italy?
- California.

20
00:01:08,401 --> 00:01:10,662
There we were
in our red hats and scarves...

21
00:01:11,075 --> 00:01:14,424
Singing a winter wonderland
watching the sunset on the beach

22
00:01:14,665 --> 00:01:18,044
when a tattooed man in blue
approached and advised us

23
00:01:18,175 --> 00:01:19,876
that we were in Crip territory.

24
00:01:20,121 --> 00:01:23,765
Well, I happen to speak Crip, so I
told him, "Chill. We were friendlies."

25
00:01:24,087 --> 00:01:26,202
But then 5 men in blue approached

26
00:01:26,386 --> 00:01:30,906
and asked if the red scarves meant that
we were sent by the bloods to diss them.

27
00:01:31,223 --> 00:01:33,645
I said fo-shizzle, we were just
spreading the word

28
00:01:33,783 --> 00:01:35,523
and please not get up in our grills.

29
00:01:35,691 --> 00:01:37,733
Then I reached for my pitch-pipe--

30
00:01:39,254 --> 00:01:42,363
- They beat the crap out of you.
- Maybe they weren't music lovers.

31
00:01:43,021 --> 00:01:44,400
How did you escape unhurt?

32
00:01:44,921 --> 00:01:47,687
I took their advice and hauled
my cracker ass out of there.

33
00:01:48,640 --> 00:01:53,506
Ms. Carol, does your status at the
screen actor's guild entitle you to

34
00:01:53,652 --> 00:01:55,859
- accident insurance?
- Oh, no.

35
00:01:56,058 --> 00:01:57,529
That's why we're here.

36
00:01:57,670 --> 00:01:59,846
We saw a notice on the
Sag bulletin board

37
00:01:59,984 --> 00:02:02,766
for the Hedda Grubman
cosmetic surgery fund.

38
00:02:02,904 --> 00:02:04,436
For all four surgeries?

39
00:02:04,615 --> 00:02:09,857
In return for your services,
we're prepared to render ours.

40
00:02:10,363 --> 00:02:13,535
- You want to sing for your surgeries?
- Not just sing.

41
00:02:13,734 --> 00:02:16,600
"Deck the Halls". We will open
our store room to you.

42
00:02:16,754 --> 00:02:19,889
Mcnamara/Troy will be turned
into a winter wonderland

43
00:02:20,057 --> 00:02:23,053
with live music
courtesy of "The Spirits."

44
00:02:25,336 --> 00:02:27,298
Mrs. Grubman did love Christmas.

Season 5 Episode 08
Duke Collins

49
00:03:14,071 --> 00:03:15,956
Sean, really. What are we, 5?

50
00:03:15,994 --> 00:03:19,089
Oh, come on. We've been doing
secret Santa since college.

51
00:03:19,258 --> 00:03:20,522
It's a holiday tradition.

52
00:03:20,438 --> 00:03:22,454
So's mince meat, whatever
the hell that is.

53
00:03:22,653 --> 00:03:26,668
Well, I think it's sweet. I mean, it's
nice to have some sort of a tradition,

54
00:03:26,936 --> 00:03:29,251
especially when you celebrate
Christmas every year

55
00:03:29,388 --> 00:03:31,120
in a bathing suit and sunblock.

56
00:03:31,255 --> 00:03:32,818
Think of it as a challenge

57
00:03:32,949 --> 00:03:36,013
finding something original and
meaningful for under $10.

58
00:03:36,213 --> 00:03:38,887
Good. So, you won't mind another
"pull my finger Santa?"

59
00:03:39,055 --> 00:03:42,259
Look-- we haven't all been together
on Christmas in a long time.

60
00:03:42,415 --> 00:03:44,483
Maybe it is stupid,
but I want to do it, OK?

61
00:03:44,851 --> 00:03:47,778
I want to do the tree,
the big turkey dinner.

62
00:03:48,172 --> 00:03:51,505
If we can't take the time to celebrate
being together as a family when we are,

63
00:03:51,667 --> 00:03:53,705
we're going to regret it
when we're not.

64
00:03:54,807 --> 00:03:56,678
All right. Let's do it.

65
00:04:07,712 --> 00:04:10,263
If you get your own name,
we throw them all back

66
00:04:10,417 --> 00:04:12,302
- and we try again.
- Yes, yes.

67
00:04:22,047 --> 00:04:23,028
Hello.

68
00:04:25,649 --> 00:04:26,875
How bad?

69
00:04:29,807 --> 00:04:31,677
Um, we're on our way.

70
00:04:33,577 --> 00:04:35,378
Matt's in the hospital.

71
00:04:38,885 --> 00:04:41,483
He's got second degree burns
over 30 percent of his body,

72
00:04:41,637 --> 00:04:42,821
mostly back and legs.

73
00:04:42,948 --> 00:04:45,080
We had to wait for his vitals
to stabilize in the ER

74
00:04:45,218 --> 00:04:46,586
before transferring him over here.

75
00:04:46,724 --> 00:04:49,134
Honey, can you hear me?
Everything's going to be all right.

76
00:04:49,272 --> 00:04:50,960
- Pulse is 160...
- Hang in there, buddy.

77
00:04:51,080 --> 00:04:53,233
- He'll need excision and grafting.
- We'll do it.

78
00:04:53,386 --> 00:04:55,525
Fine. We'll just prep him
and check your privileges.

79
00:04:55,678 --> 00:04:58,805
My God, I just don't understand
how this could have happened.

80
00:04:58,974 --> 00:05:02,218
Methamphetamine lab explosion.
Excuse me.

81
00:05:02,463 --> 00:05:05,528
- Meth lab explosion?
- We thought he was clean.

82
00:05:05,650 --> 00:05:08,485
- And you didn't tell me?
- He told us it was over.

83
00:05:08,609 --> 00:05:10,583
That he'd gotten help and
had it under control.

84
00:05:10,736 --> 00:05:12,540
He asked us to trust him, Julia.

85
00:05:12,749 --> 00:05:14,650
We'll be back when we're finished.

86
00:05:33,648 --> 00:05:35,295
He's lucky to be alive.

87
00:05:36,988 --> 00:05:38,919
We have to focus on that.

88
00:05:41,612 --> 00:05:43,559
I'm angry at him, too, you know?

89
00:05:57,498 --> 00:05:59,429
How are you feeling, sweetie?

90
00:06:04,107 --> 00:06:07,371
The surgery went well.
We had to do some grafting.

91
00:06:08,329 --> 00:06:10,253
We took some skin from your ass.

92
00:06:10,391 --> 00:06:13,157
You know, the place
where you keep your brains?

93
00:06:14,301 --> 00:06:15,420
Thank you.

94
00:06:17,504 --> 00:06:19,297
They said you were lucky.

95
00:06:19,650 --> 00:06:21,642
That you could have been killed.

96
00:06:23,124 --> 00:06:27,323
How could you do this to yourself?
I just don't understand.

97
00:06:34,095 --> 00:06:36,570
In the ambulance I heard them.

98
00:06:38,248 --> 00:06:40,310
They didn't think
I was going to make it.

99
00:06:41,306 --> 00:06:44,141
And all I could think about was Jenna,
about leaving my baby.

100
00:06:51,019 --> 00:06:52,582
Don't give up on me, OK?

101
00:06:53,712 --> 00:06:56,217
No one's giving up on you.

102
00:06:56,593 --> 00:06:58,623
We're your family.

103
00:06:59,459 --> 00:07:01,617
You'll be out in time for Christmas

104
00:07:02,105 --> 00:07:04,956
- and we'll all be together.
- No, we won't.

105
00:07:06,243 --> 00:07:07,653
You're not invited.

106
00:07:08,833 --> 00:07:10,979
Your promises are shit, man.

107
00:07:11,127 --> 00:07:14,606
I'm done saving your ass.
I'm done being sucked in by your lies,

108
00:07:14,790 --> 00:07:16,507
your pathetic cries for help.

109
00:07:16,653 --> 00:07:19,071
You know what it's like to be a parent--
peeling skin away

110
00:07:19,240 --> 00:07:20,711
from the body of your own child?

111
00:07:20,897 --> 00:07:24,008
The child you delivered with
your own hands? I'm through!

112
00:07:30,268 --> 00:07:32,252
Don't worry. He'll come around.

113
00:07:33,073 --> 00:07:34,368
I'll talk to him.

114
00:07:44,227 --> 00:07:46,833
The bullet entered at a strange angle.

115
00:07:47,039 --> 00:07:49,254
Whoever did this
must have been up pretty close.

116
00:07:49,392 --> 00:07:51,032
He was sitting on my lap.

117
00:07:51,568 --> 00:07:54,250
Oh, so this was a lover's quarrel.

118
00:07:55,096 --> 00:07:56,874
What are you talking about?

119
00:07:57,871 --> 00:08:00,368
It was a kid, 9 or 10 years old.

120
00:08:00,536 --> 00:08:01,977
Sorry. I thought that--

121
00:08:02,132 --> 00:08:06,070
Look, I needed some extra cash
last Christmas, so I

122
00:08:06,579 --> 00:08:08,203
took a gig playing Santa.

123
00:08:11,943 --> 00:08:13,666
Merry christmas, Jacob.

124
00:08:13,813 --> 00:08:15,498
I had a line a mile long.

125
00:08:16,419 --> 00:08:18,412
The store was going to close
in a half hour.

126
00:08:18,780 --> 00:08:22,611
From the minute he climbed those steps,
I knew something was wrong.

127
00:08:24,389 --> 00:08:27,270
Thinking back, it was like
he was on a mission or something.

128
00:08:29,523 --> 00:08:31,654
I asked him what he wanted
for Christmas.

129
00:08:31,876 --> 00:08:33,807
Same as last year. Don't you remember?

130
00:08:33,962 --> 00:08:36,023
Every christmas I give you a list--

131
00:08:36,376 --> 00:08:38,966
a Nintendo, an iPod, a digital camera.

132
00:08:39,237 --> 00:08:43,084
And every time you tell me
you'll get me that stuff, if I'm good.

133
00:08:43,529 --> 00:08:46,640
Yeah, right. Being good doesn't
get you anything, does it?

134
00:08:46,962 --> 00:08:49,122
You lying sack of Christmas shit.

135
00:08:57,832 --> 00:08:59,242
They shot Santa!

136
00:09:05,908 --> 00:09:07,732
Did they catch the kid?

137
00:09:08,414 --> 00:09:11,541
Yeah. But I didn't press charges.

138
00:09:12,293 --> 00:09:15,358
I mean, the kid's had it tough enough.

139
00:09:15,588 --> 00:09:16,936
Why make it worse?

140
00:09:18,071 --> 00:09:20,998
Well, that's very magnanimous of you,
Mr. Collins.

141
00:09:22,036 --> 00:09:25,070
I'm not sure many people would
have responded quite that way.

142
00:09:29,154 --> 00:09:31,101
We'd have to reopen the wound,

143
00:09:31,480 --> 00:09:33,840
clean the scarring and damaged tissue,

144
00:09:34,487 --> 00:09:36,667
and then create something
called a "Limberg flap,"

145
00:09:36,802 --> 00:09:39,208
which we'd rotate
onto the enlarged hole.

146
00:09:39,659 --> 00:09:41,957
I could schedule you
for sometime after the--

147
00:09:42,127 --> 00:09:43,996
No. I want it done now.

148
00:09:44,579 --> 00:09:47,889
I want to be out in time
to be Santa on Christmas eve.

149
00:09:49,079 --> 00:09:50,183
Look, doc,

150
00:09:50,627 --> 00:09:53,309
I've spent a year nervous
around kids, you know?

151
00:09:53,524 --> 00:09:55,830
It's like post-traumatic
stress syndrome.

152
00:09:56,528 --> 00:09:59,523
I've got to get back on the reindeer.
I like kids.

153
00:10:00,483 --> 00:10:02,812
I don't want to spend my life
afraid of them,

154
00:10:02,981 --> 00:10:04,514
have them afraid of me.

155
00:10:11,521 --> 00:10:14,410
Mmm...I talked to Sean about Matt.

156
00:10:15,505 --> 00:10:17,167
He'll come around.

157
00:10:21,137 --> 00:10:23,957
This doesn't feel right--
Sneaking around.

158
00:10:24,080 --> 00:10:27,091
That's why we should tell him.
Just be honest about it.

159
00:10:28,264 --> 00:10:30,738
I'm going to wait 'till
after the holidays.

160
00:10:31,079 --> 00:10:33,347
It was going to be hard enough this year

161
00:10:33,516 --> 00:10:35,723
with everything going on with Matt.

162
00:10:35,891 --> 00:10:37,853
It'd just be cruel.

163
00:10:38,022 --> 00:10:40,527
What about Olivia?
You have to tell her, too.

164
00:10:41,623 --> 00:10:44,604
No. She has too much going on with Eden.

165
00:10:45,674 --> 00:10:48,448
I want to wait 'till
after the holidays. Please.

166
00:10:48,923 --> 00:10:50,425
It's important to me.

167
00:10:54,804 --> 00:10:56,068
Shit!

168
00:11:00,490 --> 00:11:01,723
Jesus!

169
00:11:06,433 --> 00:11:08,885
I thought you said he was
in surgery all afternoon.

170
00:11:09,054 --> 00:11:11,200
- Someone must have canceled.
- Hello.

171
00:11:14,957 --> 00:11:16,896
I'm not getting in that closet.

172
00:11:17,402 --> 00:11:19,762
Christian. Christian?

173
00:11:26,488 --> 00:11:28,051
What are you doing?

174
00:11:29,829 --> 00:11:31,423
Just working out.

175
00:11:31,908 --> 00:11:34,039
I always do this after I masturbate.

176
00:11:34,280 --> 00:11:36,288
Make sure I hit all the muscle
groups.

177
00:11:37,322 --> 00:11:39,406
I thought we'd go get a tree together.

178
00:11:39,620 --> 00:11:41,919
I found this great organic tree farm
down on third.

179
00:11:42,065 --> 00:11:43,613
They've got Douglas firs and

180
00:11:43,747 --> 00:11:46,413
- Colorado blue spruce--
- Sean, Sean, Sean!

181
00:11:46,769 --> 00:11:49,344
You don't expect me to work out
in front of the mirror

182
00:11:49,532 --> 00:11:51,489
and not want to whack off again.

183
00:11:53,049 --> 00:11:54,474
You're sick.

184
00:11:57,681 --> 00:11:59,482
You go by yourself.

185
00:11:59,804 --> 00:12:01,252
I can take all night.

186
00:12:01,659 --> 00:12:03,513
I need a lot of foreplay.

187
00:12:03,647 --> 00:12:06,972
I'll wait. I'm not due back in surgery
for a couple of hours.

188
00:12:20,532 --> 00:12:23,233
- Can I get you some water or something?
- Get him out of here.

189
00:12:23,193 --> 00:12:25,589
I'm not good in small, dark spaces.

190
00:12:25,765 --> 00:12:27,550
I feel like I'm in a sealed coffin.

191
00:12:33,361 --> 00:12:34,406
Are you done?

192
00:12:35,530 --> 00:12:38,337
You go, man. I just want to take
a nap and cuddle.

193
00:12:38,581 --> 00:12:40,213
Come on. Get up and let's go!

194
00:12:40,698 --> 00:12:42,212
You go. I'm all snuggled up here.

195
00:12:43,045 --> 00:12:45,906
It's pathetic picking out
a tree by yourself.

196
00:12:46,464 --> 00:12:49,012
We used to always do it together,
the 3 of us, rember?

197
00:12:52,373 --> 00:12:55,015
Yeah, I know, I know.
That was 20 years ago.

198
00:12:55,460 --> 00:12:57,980
Now we do things by ourselves,
like, tie our shoelaces

199
00:12:58,219 --> 00:12:59,300
and pick up trees.

200
00:12:59,499 --> 00:13:00,321
Fine.

201
00:13:01,062 --> 00:13:03,070
I'll call Julia. See if she'll come.

202
00:13:15,045 --> 00:13:16,454
Why is her phone here?

203
00:13:16,708 --> 00:13:19,485
I don't know. I guess I must have
picked it out by mistake

204
00:13:19,614 --> 00:13:21,112
when we played secret Santa.

205
00:13:24,107 --> 00:13:26,589
All right. I'll go by myself.

206
00:13:27,421 --> 00:13:29,687
If I hear one word
about the size or shape.

207
00:13:29,922 --> 00:13:32,091
I'm not one of your girlfriends, Sean.

208
00:13:40,572 --> 00:13:43,801
That was fun.
Let's never do that again.

209
00:13:45,330 --> 00:13:46,927
Have you seen my other shoe?

210
00:13:51,017 --> 00:13:52,121
There you go.

211
00:13:56,531 --> 00:13:57,335
Where are you going?

212
00:13:57,437 --> 00:13:59,713
Where I should have gone
instead of coming here.

213
00:13:59,940 --> 00:14:02,539
- To talk to Kimber.
- You sure you'll come out alive?

214
00:14:02,798 --> 00:14:04,771
I don't know, but I have to try.

215
00:14:05,549 --> 00:14:07,383
I mean, the fact is,

216
00:14:07,618 --> 00:14:10,363
if I can avoid hurting
Sean and Olivia, I will.

217
00:14:11,796 --> 00:14:14,509
But I'm not going to have
my son wake up

218
00:14:14,861 --> 00:14:17,972
and feel that everyone
in his life has deserted him.

219
00:14:18,740 --> 00:14:20,595
You know what? I'm coming with you.

220
00:14:22,292 --> 00:14:24,100
Takes at least 2 to tango
with Kimber,

221
00:14:24,346 --> 00:14:26,610
preferably 8. One for each tentacle.

222
00:14:54,331 --> 00:14:56,163
Go away!

223
00:14:56,915 --> 00:14:58,535
Bah humbug.

224
00:14:58,677 --> 00:15:01,225
Ebenezer Cruz,
where's your Christmas spirit?

225
00:15:02,197 --> 00:15:06,182
I love that our savior was born.
I just hate the party we throw

226
00:15:06,424 --> 00:15:07,398
and the music.

227
00:15:09,841 --> 00:15:11,556
I mean, take a look at this guy.

228
00:15:11,736 --> 00:15:15,146
Getting plugged by a 10-year-old
because he didn't get a Nintendo.

229
00:15:15,463 --> 00:15:17,999
People go broke, they eat too much,

230
00:15:18,239 --> 00:15:19,548
spend it alone--

231
00:15:19,899 --> 00:15:21,825
Come on, Liz. After all these years,

232
00:15:22,071 --> 00:15:23,808
you still need an engraved invitation?

233
00:15:23,934 --> 00:15:26,341
You're spending the day with us,
just like you do every Christmas.

234
00:15:26,588 --> 00:15:27,868
You, too, Linda.

235
00:15:28,021 --> 00:15:29,218
Can't. I'm golfing.

236
00:15:30,101 --> 00:15:31,581
It won't be the same without you.

237
00:15:31,840 --> 00:15:33,836
We're having everybody over.
Julia's coming.

238
00:15:33,988 --> 00:15:34,988
And olivia.

239
00:15:35,782 --> 00:15:37,296
I don't think I can make it either.

240
00:15:38,647 --> 00:15:40,960
Are you still pissed
about what happened with Julia?

241
00:15:41,703 --> 00:15:44,310
I wish that I were
a better person, Sean.

242
00:15:45,120 --> 00:15:48,625
But maybe we both can learn
a lesson in forgiveness from Santa.

243
00:15:48,808 --> 00:15:50,539
So you think duke here did
the right thing

244
00:15:50,641 --> 00:15:52,275
by forgiving the kid that shot him.

245
00:15:52,551 --> 00:15:55,358
That the punk's going to suddenly
see the light and go straight?

246
00:15:56,619 --> 00:15:59,568
What movie are you living in?
"It's a wonderful life"?

247
00:15:59,922 --> 00:16:02,388
Should have pressed charges
and locked that kid up,

248
00:16:02,550 --> 00:16:05,587
so no one else would wind up
with a hole in their face.

249
00:16:05,828 --> 00:16:07,437
It's about love, Sean.

250
00:16:07,695 --> 00:16:09,140
It's about grace.

251
00:16:24,404 --> 00:16:25,390
Mr. McNamara,

252
00:16:26,142 --> 00:16:27,451
are you asleep?

253
00:16:28,384 --> 00:16:31,366
You've been asleep
the last 4 times I've come to visit.

254
00:16:32,090 --> 00:16:34,603
5's my limit. I won't be back again.

255
00:16:36,803 --> 00:16:39,416
Mr. McNamara, persons suffering

256
00:16:39,592 --> 00:16:41,507
disfigurement from a traumatic event

257
00:16:41,609 --> 00:16:43,944
have to learn
how to recreate themselves,

258
00:16:45,056 --> 00:16:47,592
to adapt to new body images.

259
00:16:51,343 --> 00:16:52,212
Look,

260
00:16:52,588 --> 00:16:55,159
lady, my dad's a plastic surgeon, ok?

261
00:16:55,688 --> 00:16:58,788
I'm going to be fine,
so try recreating someone else.

262
00:17:01,339 --> 00:17:04,263
I don't usually force
my services on unwilling patients.

263
00:17:04,511 --> 00:17:06,472
The results are rarely successful.

264
00:17:08,146 --> 00:17:09,027
However,

265
00:17:10,835 --> 00:17:13,066
after reading your medical history,

266
00:17:13,313 --> 00:17:16,401
I think you're definitely
in need of some recreation.

267
00:17:17,199 --> 00:17:18,772
You tested dirty for meth.

268
00:17:20,404 --> 00:17:21,872
I'm Rachel Ben-Natan,

269
00:17:22,728 --> 00:17:26,075
your burn rehabilitation counselor.
I'm here to assist you.

270
00:17:29,583 --> 00:17:31,133
How did it happen?

271
00:17:32,420 --> 00:17:34,205
It was a falafel attack.

272
00:17:35,099 --> 00:17:37,600
You know, those pita sandwiches?

273
00:17:39,041 --> 00:17:40,462
I just had to have one.

274
00:17:41,166 --> 00:17:43,268
So I went to

275
00:17:43,500 --> 00:17:45,115
the university cafeteria,

276
00:17:45,890 --> 00:17:46,946
I sat down

277
00:17:47,369 --> 00:17:50,575
across the table
from a very handsome boy.

278
00:17:51,964 --> 00:17:53,232
I was quite beautiful.

279
00:17:53,479 --> 00:17:55,405
I could always get anyone I wanted.

280
00:17:57,196 --> 00:17:58,465
When he turned away,

281
00:17:58,629 --> 00:18:01,353
I just assumed he was gay
and went back to my falafel.

282
00:18:02,430 --> 00:18:05,905
I was just about to take the first bite
when he blew himself up.

283
00:18:07,097 --> 00:18:08,525
7 students died.

284
00:18:10,040 --> 00:18:11,331
There was blood and

285
00:18:12,320 --> 00:18:14,598
body parts, and pieces
of flesh everywhere.

286
00:18:14,722 --> 00:18:17,822
I don't know how I survived.
I was very lucky.

287
00:18:18,468 --> 00:18:20,100
You think you were lucky?

288
00:18:21,933 --> 00:18:26,148
Well, I've lost my taste for falafel,
but I still have my life.

289
00:18:27,277 --> 00:18:29,734
- Have you walked the hallways today?
- No.

290
00:18:30,274 --> 00:18:31,530
No. It still hurts.

291
00:18:31,954 --> 00:18:33,627
It will hurt more if you don't.

292
00:18:35,190 --> 00:18:36,438
What if I say no?

293
00:18:36,614 --> 00:18:37,965
Try it and see.

294
00:18:38,225 --> 00:18:40,858
I should warn you though,
I spent 2 years in the israeli army.

295
00:19:03,280 --> 00:19:05,393
And merry Christmas

296
00:19:05,628 --> 00:19:07,988
to the biggest dick in town.

297
00:19:08,790 --> 00:19:10,070
Keep it up, Danny boy.

298
00:19:14,885 --> 00:19:15,871
How about that, uh?

299
00:19:18,586 --> 00:19:21,651
All right, go on with your business.
We'll have a little swinging.

300
00:19:22,344 --> 00:19:24,070
So, who's the over-40 crowd?

301
00:19:24,305 --> 00:19:26,853
No one. Just some ghosts
from Christmas past.

302
00:19:27,876 --> 00:19:30,400
Could stay close,
'cause I might need you.

303
00:19:30,663 --> 00:19:32,507
Merry christmas, Julia.

304
00:19:32,944 --> 00:19:35,762
- Would you like to hold baby Jenna?
- Yeah. May I?

305
00:19:36,003 --> 00:19:37,870
No. You may not.

306
00:19:38,574 --> 00:19:40,394
Emily, take Jenna to daycare.

307
00:19:40,702 --> 00:19:42,674
So I take it you 2 are Mattie's parents.

308
00:19:42,921 --> 00:19:46,972
I promise you that your granddaughter
will get everything that money can buy.

309
00:19:47,230 --> 00:19:49,843
Great. So she can grow up
to be just like her mommy.

310
00:19:50,530 --> 00:19:52,961
I don't think we should hope
for miracles, do you?

311
00:19:53,572 --> 00:19:55,333
Wouldn't want to pressure the child.

312
00:19:55,819 --> 00:19:57,932
Ram's going to marry me, and then

313
00:19:58,179 --> 00:20:00,627
he's going to legally adopt
Jenna once we both get divorced.

314
00:20:00,729 --> 00:20:03,912
That's why we came, Kimber,
because we thought you'd like to know

315
00:20:04,147 --> 00:20:06,619
matt's had an accident.
He's in the hospital

316
00:20:06,751 --> 00:20:08,095
and he's been badly burned.

317
00:20:08,236 --> 00:20:09,316
Making meth, right?

318
00:20:09,861 --> 00:20:11,657
Well, thank god Jenna was with me.

319
00:20:11,909 --> 00:20:16,047
You're not fit to be near that child,
Kimber, and you know it.

320
00:20:16,281 --> 00:20:18,836
What? You're a good mother, why?
Because you went to college?

321
00:20:19,071 --> 00:20:21,556
Or is it because you've never had
to work a day in your life?

322
00:20:21,658 --> 00:20:24,134
Because I was busy raising a family.

323
00:20:24,367 --> 00:20:25,917
Yeah. You were lousy at it.

324
00:20:26,175 --> 00:20:29,989
You robbed him of everything, Kimber.
His identity, his money, his future.

325
00:20:30,494 --> 00:20:33,253
You're not going to
rob him of his child.

326
00:20:33,500 --> 00:20:35,735
Don't you think that the little girl
is going to be a little bit better off

327
00:20:35,837 --> 00:20:37,094
with Kimber and me,

328
00:20:37,355 --> 00:20:40,015
rather than some punk who is willing
to be filmed taking it up the ass

329
00:20:40,164 --> 00:20:41,931
so he can score
a little bit more boo-yah?

330
00:20:42,086 --> 00:20:44,200
That's my son, you dick-sucking pimp.

331
00:20:45,378 --> 00:20:47,702
Didn't you guys know
that Matt worked here?

332
00:20:48,972 --> 00:20:50,897
Ram cast him in "First time fairies."

333
00:20:52,371 --> 00:20:53,498
As a bottom.

334
00:20:54,569 --> 00:20:56,471
Stop it, kimber. You're lying.

335
00:20:56,604 --> 00:20:59,254
It's the only thing she's good at,
except for spreading her legs.

336
00:21:00,517 --> 00:21:02,584
Well, my daughter's going to
have everything.

337
00:21:02,975 --> 00:21:05,969
She's going to have designer clothes,
gourmet food,

338
00:21:06,285 --> 00:21:07,846
and 2 parents who love her.

339
00:21:08,103 --> 00:21:10,627
What's matt going to give her? Drugs?

340
00:21:11,067 --> 00:21:14,205
So stop trying to rescue my child
when you can't save your own.

341
00:21:14,475 --> 00:21:17,217
Could you please escort
these grandparents out of here?

342
00:21:22,784 --> 00:21:23,982
Merry Christmas.

343
00:22:29,757 --> 00:22:31,225
Hi, Julia.

344
00:22:34,403 --> 00:22:35,801
I made some fruitcake.

345
00:22:36,137 --> 00:22:38,749
It's a recipe from
one of my mom's ex's.

346
00:22:39,595 --> 00:22:42,054
She was a real bitch,
but a dynamite pastry chef.

347
00:22:44,220 --> 00:22:46,768
At least there was something
you liked about her.

348
00:22:48,278 --> 00:22:49,476
I made it for you.

349
00:22:50,027 --> 00:22:52,234
It's sort of a peace offering.

350
00:22:53,197 --> 00:22:54,923
You want peace, Eden?

351
00:22:55,025 --> 00:22:58,642
It's going to take a lot more than
a fruitcake after what you've done.

352
00:22:59,679 --> 00:23:02,251
You have every reason to hate me, Julia.

353
00:23:02,661 --> 00:23:04,998
My being with Sean was inexcusable.

354
00:23:05,244 --> 00:23:07,264
Some sort of acting out, I guess.

355
00:23:07,948 --> 00:23:10,026
I really should be back in therapy.

356
00:23:10,496 --> 00:23:12,327
My anger towards you--

357
00:23:13,502 --> 00:23:16,237
I feel terrible
about the way I've behaved.

358
00:23:19,121 --> 00:23:19,922
Look...

359
00:23:21,247 --> 00:23:22,985
you love my mom,

360
00:23:23,772 --> 00:23:25,204
my mom loves you.

361
00:23:27,604 --> 00:23:29,400
I've never had a real family.

362
00:23:30,191 --> 00:23:32,022
Maybe this could be one.

363
00:23:37,605 --> 00:23:40,834
I used to love fruitcake
when I was a girl.

364
00:23:43,415 --> 00:23:45,106
It's so fattening.

365
00:23:47,796 --> 00:23:49,370
One bite won't hurt.

366
00:24:05,288 --> 00:24:07,401
What are you doing for Christmas?

367
00:24:10,078 --> 00:24:11,493
Nothing really.

368
00:24:12,004 --> 00:24:14,904
I may just go to the movies
or something.

369
00:24:16,765 --> 00:24:18,821
I know mom's going to be with you.

370
00:24:19,337 --> 00:24:20,405
It's ok.

371
00:24:22,388 --> 00:24:23,997
Why don't you join us?

372
00:24:26,809 --> 00:24:28,981
That's really kind of you, Julia,

373
00:24:29,474 --> 00:24:32,457
but I don't think Sean
would appreciate my being there.

374
00:24:33,948 --> 00:24:36,496
I don't know. You know,
it might help him.

375
00:24:37,161 --> 00:24:38,758
Forgive and move on.

376
00:24:41,808 --> 00:24:43,071
I'd love to come.

377
00:24:57,470 --> 00:24:58,468
It's delicious.

378
00:25:02,151 --> 00:25:04,076
This is what I rember about fruitcake--

379
00:25:04,178 --> 00:25:06,506
once you start, it's hard to stop.

380
00:25:09,370 --> 00:25:11,190
Well, I'll save the rest for later.

381
00:25:11,292 --> 00:25:12,707
You can have it whenever you want.

382
00:25:15,592 --> 00:25:18,258
Mom doesn't really like it anyway, so...

383
00:25:19,849 --> 00:25:21,176
It's all yours.

384
00:25:30,331 --> 00:25:32,743
Just a few more steps, mr. McNamara.

385
00:25:34,772 --> 00:25:38,443
- Are all israeli women this--
- Pushy? Yes. It's genetic.

386
00:25:42,895 --> 00:25:44,870
At ease, soldier.

387
00:25:47,333 --> 00:25:49,631
So how long did you train for?

388
00:25:50,456 --> 00:25:55,330
Not long.
Women are not really expected to fight.

389
00:25:55,543 --> 00:25:56,437
Thank God.

390
00:25:56,557 --> 00:25:59,271
Didn't you want to defend your country?

391
00:26:00,323 --> 00:26:03,722
What I wanted was to find a husband.

392
00:26:04,521 --> 00:26:08,621
All those handsome,
hard bodies in uniform,

393
00:26:08,932 --> 00:26:13,391
tanned and sex-starved from the desert.

394
00:26:13,848 --> 00:26:16,799
So after the army you went
to university to study psychology.

395
00:26:16,921 --> 00:26:18,813
No. To find a husband.

396
00:26:21,001 --> 00:26:22,841
Hey, Mattie.

397
00:26:23,752 --> 00:26:26,642
- Is this a bad time?
- We were just finishing.

398
00:26:27,168 --> 00:26:30,416
Rest up. Tomorrow we're going
to do twice around the floor.

399
00:26:30,546 --> 00:26:32,208
No, Rachel. Stay, please.

400
00:26:33,260 --> 00:26:37,421
Guys, this is Rachel Ben-Natan,
my counselor and torturer.

401
00:26:37,628 --> 00:26:41,211
This is my mother Julia McNamara
and one of my fathers Christian Troy.

402
00:26:41,361 --> 00:26:43,536
Mattie has 2 daddies. Nice to meet you.

403
00:26:43,656 --> 00:26:46,159
- How nice for you.
- Yeah, it's big fun.

404
00:26:46,460 --> 00:26:49,971
I-- we've been to see Kimber.

405
00:26:51,315 --> 00:26:53,502
How's Jenna? Is she all right?

406
00:26:54,628 --> 00:26:56,769
Kimber wants to keep Jenna, Matt.

407
00:27:00,313 --> 00:27:02,973
I just need sometime with her to talk,
show her I've changed.

408
00:27:03,093 --> 00:27:05,403
Apparently she's filing for divorce,
she's getting married

409
00:27:05,523 --> 00:27:08,764
to Ram, and they have a pretty good case
against you ever getting custody.

410
00:27:08,884 --> 00:27:11,496
No, I'm gonna fight for her.
She belongs with me.

411
00:27:11,684 --> 00:27:13,736
Do you really think that you're capable

412
00:27:13,886 --> 00:27:15,736
of taking care of a child?

413
00:27:16,083 --> 00:27:18,243
She can't wait for you to grow up.

414
00:27:19,548 --> 00:27:22,841
First dad and now you.
Anyone else wants to throw in the towel?

415
00:27:22,961 --> 00:27:24,427
Oh, Mattie, come on.
Do you really think that any judge

416
00:27:24,547 --> 00:27:26,496
in his right mind would give
you custody?

417
00:27:26,712 --> 00:27:27,755
Seriously!

418
00:27:27,877 --> 00:27:31,294
What is the Matter with you people?
Matt, listen to me.

419
00:27:31,566 --> 00:27:33,050
You want your child back?

420
00:27:33,170 --> 00:27:35,341
Either find a way or make a way.

421
00:27:35,463 --> 00:27:37,979
And stop looking to your parents
to rescue you.

422
00:27:46,044 --> 00:27:47,602
I'll be right back.

423
00:27:56,823 --> 00:27:58,128
Are you ok?

424
00:27:58,629 --> 00:28:00,400
Oh, yeah yeah. Really.

425
00:28:00,654 --> 00:28:04,049
Just-- feeling a little low and

426
00:28:04,169 --> 00:28:08,206
overwhelmed with everything
that's been going on.

427
00:28:08,882 --> 00:28:12,009
- Excuse me, miss.
- I'm not going to apologize.

428
00:28:12,177 --> 00:28:13,425
I meant every word I said.

429
00:28:13,566 --> 00:28:16,468
- Was that tough love?
- Honesty. Try it.

430
00:28:24,631 --> 00:28:27,260
Look, I'm a plastic surgeon.

431
00:28:27,570 --> 00:28:29,575
I know you don't make much
as a burn counselor.

432
00:28:29,695 --> 00:28:31,814
I'd be happy
to offer my services for free.

433
00:28:32,443 --> 00:28:35,494
Why? Is there something
you think I should have done?

434
00:28:36,405 --> 00:28:39,448
Well, since honesty
is the word of the day,

435
00:28:39,682 --> 00:28:43,705
I could do a series of skin grafts,
I could restructure your bone line.

436
00:28:43,836 --> 00:28:46,230
You could make me beautiful again.

437
00:28:46,446 --> 00:28:48,798
Thank you, doctor, but no.

438
00:28:48,958 --> 00:28:51,249
You might find this hard to believe, but

439
00:28:51,369 --> 00:28:52,685
I'm quite happy as I am.

440
00:28:53,256 --> 00:28:55,965
- A martyr?
- A survivor.

441
00:28:57,336 --> 00:29:01,351
A living example of what people
can go through and survive.

442
00:29:14,820 --> 00:29:16,212
Are you all right?

443
00:29:16,332 --> 00:29:18,441
- Yeah.
- You look a little pale.

444
00:29:19,257 --> 00:29:22,880
I'm probably getting a bug
that's going around or something.

445
00:29:23,000 --> 00:29:26,198
Here they are.
I can't believe I found them.

446
00:29:26,632 --> 00:29:27,907
What's going on?

447
00:29:28,320 --> 00:29:34,377
What? Oh, nothing.
I must have gotten up too quickly.

448
00:29:34,517 --> 00:29:37,306
Oh, those pictures are freshman year!

449
00:29:37,444 --> 00:29:40,666
Christmas Eve before and after
the tree caught on fire.

450
00:29:40,786 --> 00:29:42,086
You guys go ahead and laugh.

451
00:29:42,206 --> 00:29:43,803
You didn't suffer
property damage, right?

452
00:29:43,923 --> 00:29:47,307
Those "Penthouse" magazines
were vintage. Irreplaceable.

453
00:29:48,074 --> 00:29:49,354
Ok, thank you.

454
00:29:54,744 --> 00:29:55,650
Hello.

455
00:29:58,936 --> 00:30:02,870
Well, we were just going to do
our secret santa thing.

456
00:30:03,903 --> 00:30:06,607
Ok, well, I could meet you later.

457
00:30:07,994 --> 00:30:09,891
Ok. Yeah.

458
00:30:10,360 --> 00:30:11,975
You too. Bye.

459
00:30:13,759 --> 00:30:17,684
Ah, that was Olivia.
We're having dinner later.

460
00:30:18,352 --> 00:30:20,911
- I see you got your phone back.
- What?

461
00:30:21,838 --> 00:30:26,936
Oh, yeah. God, I've been leaving things
all over the place lately.

462
00:30:28,467 --> 00:30:31,246
So, who's going to go first?

463
00:30:31,477 --> 00:30:32,561
I will.

464
00:30:32,758 --> 00:30:35,519
Although I don't know
if we can top last year's

465
00:30:35,699 --> 00:30:37,802
"I love my dick" picture frame.

466
00:30:37,953 --> 00:30:38,976
That was good, huh?

467
00:30:42,103 --> 00:30:43,286
Thank you, Santa.

468
00:30:45,689 --> 00:30:46,814
Green paper, my favourite.

469
00:30:48,523 --> 00:30:52,579
"McNamara/Troy.
Put your tits in our hands".

470
00:30:52,821 --> 00:30:55,065
I thought that worked
for 80% of our clients.

471
00:30:55,187 --> 00:30:57,084
Doesn't get better than that, does it?

472
00:30:57,224 --> 00:30:58,427
My turn.

473
00:31:02,489 --> 00:31:05,466
Mmm... edible undies. Hilarious.

474
00:31:05,644 --> 00:31:07,475
Dessert for Olivia.

475
00:31:07,973 --> 00:31:09,212
Very funny.

476
00:31:09,334 --> 00:31:10,949
I have another one.

477
00:31:11,137 --> 00:31:12,837
Hey, you're not supposed
to go over, rember?

478
00:31:12,977 --> 00:31:15,334
- You know...
- Make us look cheap.

479
00:31:17,727 --> 00:31:19,391
Oh, they're beautiful.

480
00:31:23,038 --> 00:31:25,344
It's not like they're expensive
or anything.

481
00:31:25,464 --> 00:31:29,264
It's just-- I don't know, I saw them,

482
00:31:29,527 --> 00:31:31,480
I thought they'd look good on her, and

483
00:31:32,325 --> 00:31:33,912
I got them.

484
00:31:36,541 --> 00:31:40,287
I thought they'd look good
with your eyes.

485
00:31:40,789 --> 00:31:43,508
Thank you, Christian.
You shouldn't have.

486
00:31:48,666 --> 00:31:51,428
You guys are screwing each other.

487
00:31:53,228 --> 00:31:55,879
Sean, I just bought her some earrings.

488
00:31:57,789 --> 00:32:01,381
The phone, the touching...

489
00:32:04,959 --> 00:32:06,236
Am I stupid?

490
00:32:06,913 --> 00:32:08,513
Nobody's stupid. You shouldn't--

491
00:32:08,633 --> 00:32:11,269
What? Take it personally?

492
00:32:11,389 --> 00:32:12,527
Let it bother me.

493
00:32:12,668 --> 00:32:15,353
She's not my wife anymore,
who gives a shit?

494
00:32:18,669 --> 00:32:21,320
- How long?
- Sean, I'm sorry.

495
00:32:21,672 --> 00:32:23,668
It just happened.

496
00:32:23,913 --> 00:32:25,715
When were you gonna tell me?

497
00:32:27,423 --> 00:32:29,170
Christmas day?

498
00:32:29,293 --> 00:32:30,855
New years?

499
00:32:31,283 --> 00:32:32,809
Or did you just want me
to catch you in the act

500
00:32:32,929 --> 00:32:35,240
when I came home early by mistake?

501
00:32:38,042 --> 00:32:39,224
You were there that day.

502
00:32:40,478 --> 00:32:42,238
When the phone--

503
00:32:42,754 --> 00:32:44,669
What did you do, hide under the bed?

504
00:32:45,102 --> 00:32:45,974
In the closet.

505
00:32:48,603 --> 00:32:51,029
- Jesus.
- Sean, you know,

506
00:32:51,149 --> 00:32:53,442
I am sorry and we wanted
to tell you, but--

507
00:32:54,454 --> 00:32:56,976
Well, I just wanted to
wait 'till after the holidays.

508
00:32:57,096 --> 00:32:58,234
Right. Right.

509
00:32:58,354 --> 00:33:00,572
Were you gonna sit me and Oli down
and give us the good news

510
00:33:00,692 --> 00:33:02,764
- at the same time?
- What the hell is the difference?

511
00:33:03,693 --> 00:33:05,449
I mean, seriously.

512
00:33:05,603 --> 00:33:07,694
Look, I know it's difficult,
but you're not together now anyway.

513
00:33:07,814 --> 00:33:10,923
- It's not like we're cheating on you.
- You're such a clueless piece of shit!

514
00:33:26,417 --> 00:33:28,316
We love each other, Sean.

515
00:34:21,092 --> 00:34:23,090
You left early this morning.

516
00:34:23,277 --> 00:34:27,248
I didn't figure there was any point
in staying in bed if I wasn't sleeping.

517
00:34:28,901 --> 00:34:32,910
I'll say one thing
for leaving the house before 5:00.

518
00:34:33,590 --> 00:34:35,725
There's no traffic.

519
00:34:42,275 --> 00:34:46,584
Look, we've been through enough over the
years to split us apart and then some.

520
00:34:46,805 --> 00:34:50,495
But somehow,
we always end up back together.

521
00:34:51,103 --> 00:34:55,694
I can't imagine anything in the world
that could change that except

522
00:34:57,150 --> 00:34:59,159
maybe Julia. So,

523
00:34:59,995 --> 00:35:02,474
I won't see her
if it means that much to you.

524
00:35:04,483 --> 00:35:06,769
Oh, come on.
It's not like you're Mr. Celibate

525
00:35:06,889 --> 00:35:08,239
pining away waiting for her.

526
00:35:10,169 --> 00:35:12,976
Why didn't you just go
to New York and sleep with her there?

527
00:35:14,036 --> 00:35:16,608
Or did you have to follow me
out here and do it under my nose

528
00:35:16,728 --> 00:35:18,686
because that's the only way
you can really get off?

529
00:35:18,806 --> 00:35:21,202
We're not doing it
to cause you any pain, all right?

530
00:35:21,322 --> 00:35:24,164
We're doing it
to see if finally it feels right.

531
00:35:25,666 --> 00:35:26,493
But...

532
00:35:29,670 --> 00:35:31,744
I won't do it without your blessing.

533
00:35:37,045 --> 00:35:39,533
I don't know if I can give it to you.

534
00:35:41,044 --> 00:35:42,904
Give you my blessing.

535
00:35:47,793 --> 00:35:49,307
I just don't know.

536
00:35:59,793 --> 00:36:01,593
It looks good, doc.

537
00:36:02,288 --> 00:36:06,232
Now I can look at my face without seeing
that kid, the gun.

538
00:36:06,372 --> 00:36:08,814
Well, Santa
you're a better man than I am.

539
00:36:08,982 --> 00:36:11,249
Then you must be one hell of a scumbag.

540
00:36:11,369 --> 00:36:14,114
Excuse me. I'm in a private
consultation with a patient.

541
00:36:14,387 --> 00:36:15,579
Go on. Tell him.

542
00:36:16,734 --> 00:36:19,664
Don't be afraid. Just say it.

543
00:36:26,856 --> 00:36:28,518
I'm sorry, daddy.

544
00:36:29,279 --> 00:36:30,959
I'm sorry I shot you.

545
00:36:33,234 --> 00:36:34,565
You did it, honey.

546
00:36:34,983 --> 00:36:37,053
You turned the other cheek.

547
00:36:37,391 --> 00:36:39,877
Honey, go wait in the lobby.
I'll be out in a second.

548
00:36:41,859 --> 00:36:43,814
Your son is the one who shot you?

549
00:36:43,934 --> 00:36:45,032
It's a long story, doc.

550
00:36:46,356 --> 00:36:48,770
- How did you find me, Nancy?
- I followed the money,

551
00:36:48,890 --> 00:36:50,671
like I always do.

552
00:36:50,849 --> 00:36:52,892
I went to get back payment
from the court account,

553
00:36:53,012 --> 00:36:53,878
and they said that

554
00:36:53,998 --> 00:36:57,347
some ex-partymotion had been
granted for some emergency surgery?

555
00:36:58,131 --> 00:36:59,821
It's not your money, Duke.

556
00:37:00,356 --> 00:37:01,859
It's his!

557
00:37:02,460 --> 00:37:04,798
You should have been straight
with us before the surgery.

558
00:37:04,918 --> 00:37:05,905
I want you out now.

559
00:37:06,642 --> 00:37:09,056
Come on, man.
The little bastard shoots me

560
00:37:09,176 --> 00:37:10,933
ad she comes fter me for child support?

561
00:37:11,074 --> 00:37:14,642
I am still waiting
for that apology, Duke.

562
00:37:15,450 --> 00:37:17,628
"I'm sorry, son,

563
00:37:17,825 --> 00:37:19,891
for abandoning you,

564
00:37:20,013 --> 00:37:22,051
for giving up on you,

565
00:37:22,356 --> 00:37:25,098
for pretending
like you don't even exist!"

566
00:37:29,107 --> 00:37:31,023
Not now, go away!

567
00:37:34,116 --> 00:37:37,638
You put that gun in his hand
and you cocked it.

568
00:37:38,957 --> 00:37:41,558
All he had to do was pull the trigger.

569
00:37:42,839 --> 00:37:44,520
Like this.

570
00:39:19,439 --> 00:39:20,819
You need a hand with that?

571
00:39:21,908 --> 00:39:25,448
No. I have 2 good ones of my own.

572
00:39:27,221 --> 00:39:29,743
I came to ask you to come home.

573
00:39:29,931 --> 00:39:31,790
Spend Christmas with your family.

574
00:39:32,534 --> 00:39:33,940
Thanks.

575
00:39:34,964 --> 00:39:37,396
It's ok. I made plans.

576
00:39:41,412 --> 00:39:43,836
You know, when my dad left,

577
00:39:46,154 --> 00:39:48,116
I thought I knew how to deal with it.

578
00:39:48,473 --> 00:39:51,177
He wrote me off,
I'd write him off son of a bitch.

579
00:39:51,719 --> 00:39:53,773
I thought I had it pretty under control.

580
00:39:53,914 --> 00:39:56,553
The hurt, the loneliness,

581
00:39:58,012 --> 00:39:59,242
the anger.

582
00:40:00,091 --> 00:40:02,895
I'm just replaying it

583
00:40:03,317 --> 00:40:05,777
by doing to you what he did to me.

584
00:40:05,909 --> 00:40:09,082
- Look, dad, I don't hold it--
- He couldn't help it.

585
00:40:09,284 --> 00:40:12,946
He couldn't be different with me
because of how his father was with him.

586
00:40:13,951 --> 00:40:18,505
We're just passing the same shit
on and on and on.

587
00:40:18,627 --> 00:40:22,251
And I just want it-- I want it to stop.

588
00:40:29,405 --> 00:40:30,405
Here.

589
00:40:32,531 --> 00:40:33,895
What's this?

590
00:40:34,342 --> 00:40:37,106
Something he left me

591
00:40:37,604 --> 00:40:38,984
before he left me.

592
00:40:40,604 --> 00:40:44,172
He said it was a box for me
to put my dreams in.

593
00:40:44,744 --> 00:40:47,383
I just figured it was useless.

594
00:40:48,279 --> 00:40:52,148
The only dream I had was
seeing him again.

595
00:40:53,716 --> 00:40:55,331
But I have another one.

596
00:40:59,221 --> 00:41:00,759
For you to forgive me.

597
00:41:02,656 --> 00:41:06,791
I don't want to give up on you, man.

598
00:41:08,021 --> 00:41:11,017
I don't want you to give up on me.

599
00:41:19,857 --> 00:41:21,923
You keep this.

600
00:41:23,303 --> 00:41:25,885
This is for your dreams.

601
00:41:26,965 --> 00:41:28,780
I've got to find my own.

602
00:41:29,780 --> 00:41:32,254
All I know right now is that

603
00:41:32,432 --> 00:41:35,480
I'm never gonna be a man
or a decent father

604
00:41:35,775 --> 00:41:38,329
until I stop being your child.

605
00:41:45,909 --> 00:41:49,759
I'd still love for you
to spend Christmas with me.

606
00:41:50,229 --> 00:41:51,961
With us.

607
00:41:52,844 --> 00:41:54,553
Be around people who love you.

608
00:41:55,032 --> 00:41:56,684
I'm spending it with Rachel.

609
00:41:56,908 --> 00:41:58,708
If I can't be with Jenna on Christmas,

610
00:41:58,828 --> 00:42:01,028
I figure spending it with Rachel
and her kids

611
00:42:01,148 --> 00:42:03,121
might take the sting
out a little, you know?

612
00:42:03,346 --> 00:42:05,318
- She's got kids?
- 24 of them.

613
00:42:05,600 --> 00:42:08,163
All in the pediatric burn unit.

614
00:42:09,412 --> 00:42:11,234
It's good seeing you, dad.

615
00:42:11,957 --> 00:42:13,496
Merry Christmas.

616
00:43:11,346 --> 00:43:13,165
I'm glad you reconsidered.

617
00:43:18,847 --> 00:43:23,289
- Matt coming?
- No. Maybe next Christmas.

618
00:43:24,204 --> 00:43:27,566
Ok. Now, do you feel like
a holiday Martini?

619
00:43:27,725 --> 00:43:31,735
It's like an everyday Martini
just with a lot more vodka.

620
00:43:32,354 --> 00:43:35,556
Hey, thank you for coming.

621
00:43:38,505 --> 00:43:40,843
It wouldn't be the same without you.

622
00:43:41,171 --> 00:43:43,566
I know how hard this must be for you.

623
00:43:44,099 --> 00:43:46,702
Not being here would be even harder.

624
00:43:47,847 --> 00:43:49,436
Here we go.

625
00:43:52,225 --> 00:43:53,568
Cheers.
